Phillippi's Family Dining

We live in dubois but out kids dentists are in national heights. Need some lunch today and decided to try this place. Boy we're we pleasantly surprised!! Food was excellent, refills were prompt, server was awesome and the place was clean. A real hidden gem I tell ya! Food may be a liiiittle pricey but it seems all hand made somits worth it. Will be back, will recommend.

Food is amazing. The servers are always kind and check on us regularly and even remember our orders. It's a great place to go to hang out with family.

We had a great waitress that kept checking on us to make sure we were happy. The food was really good. Two of us had burgers one had pizza and the other had a salad. Everyone in party thought food was great. Would highly recommend

Always consistent and good! My favorite place for wings, big and meaty, crispy on outside moist on the inside. The General Tso's sauce is the best! Wings are crazy priced everywhere right now so might as well come here and get some good ones!

A local family owned staple of Natrona Heights. The staff and service is outstanding. The owners kids work there and its a fun family atmosphere. Home of the one and only birdville pie! Love their siracha fries and wings too! Make sure to grab a tshirt for 10 dollars or a hoodie for 25 dollars!

The Birdville pie and chicken wings are spot on, don't forget the birdnest fries. Great stuff, great service, and an all around hometown place to eat.

We ordered and reserved a table for St. Patrick's day..traditional thin crust pizza was ready and our table available when we arrived.

This local hometown pizza joint is an absolute gem, and it holds a special place in our hearts. The unique recipe they've crafted is either a love-it-or-hate-it affair, and we fall firmly into the love-it category. When that piping hot pizza comes to the table, you know you'll have to exercise a bit of patience to avoid scorching the roof of your mouth, but it's a delicious challenge. The perfect combination of crispy crust, gooey cheese, and a tangy sauce keeps us coming back for more. It's been a family favorite for years, and we're hoping to continue visiting for many more to come.

First time. The Birdville Pie is so very different! Zucchini is one thing I measure a pizza place. It's good! Great sauce. I'd love to know what the secret cheese blend is, but then again, that would ruin the pleasure of this pie.

Great food. service was fast and friendly . Birdville pizza was the best. Wings are huge. If you get a salad try the house dressing. It is amazing. We will definitely go back anytime we are anywhere near the area.

Best pizza I've had in a long time. First time trying it.

This is my favorite pie hands down. I literally drive 40 minutes regularly to have this pizza. In my experience you either love or hate the Birdville Pie. I think you know where I stand. Do yourself a favor, get one yourself and support this great local spot.

The Birdvlle pie is the best most different Pizza there is. It is like 2 different pizzas, from right out the oven to cold is completely different.

Note my review below (March, 2023). I just want to update as I need to make a few points. This is specific to the Birdville Pie. There is absolutely, positively no doubt that Phillippi's own the original Mooney & Lefty Martz (formerly P&M) Pizza.

When P&M closed in the early 2000's and was bought by a new family (~2007) the new (and current) owners were never granted the recipe by the Martz family. It's a lazy attempt at a knock-off using the wrong cheeses (they are white and burn easily); a bad sauce recipe and a bad crust recipe. It's bad.

Phillippi's is good! (when it's made right).

Because I'm a loyalists and have eaten the original Mooney and Lefty pizza, and realize that there are a lot of clueless people, it's imperative to get the above points across.

My only dig with Phillippi's is that they do lack quality control. It depends on who is making it in the kitchen. I've gotten the pizza on recent Friday's and would say it was made really poorly (thick cheese, and dry, no detectable sauce). Then I'd get it on a Sunday and it was vintage Mooney & Lefty quality.

Bird nest was delicious! Husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs w/ tossed salad. He said it was really good and one of the best. Service was excellent 👌
