Huge portions and great flavor. Emily was an outstanding waitress. Made sure everything was good and kept the refills and bread full.

Had Family in town from California and Arizona, we went for lunch everything was fantastic !!! 12 people ranging from 5 to 90 years old! No rush, very attentive waitress and staff, food was fantastic!!! Desserts were awesome! My cousins will be back if they ever come through Pittsburgh again!! My Mom even flirted with the chef !!!

Delicious homemade Italian dishes. Lunch specials. Friendly service. Customer parking outside for patrons. Tried the chicken cacciatore. Very favorable.

Sister restaurant to Pasta Too

Tried them on a whim and so glad we did! Everything we had was delicious! The Alfredo was the best I’ve had in a long time, shrimp pasta special, pasta with marinara w/meatball and sausage. Were all a huge hit. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner. Will be new go to for Italian. Everyone from the hostess and servers we talked with were really nice and great personalities.

Delicious Italian food is served at this cozy family run restaurant. Portions are large, so you will have at least one other yummy meal. Very friendly service from everyone from the hostess to the waitresses to the busboys.

I went on a Saturday evening and had to wait 20 mins. It was well worth the wait. The service was excellent and the restaurant was extremely clean with updated decor. Our food was very hot and my zucchini parmigiana was to die for. I also had side of green beans almandine. It was the best I ever had! I really recommend you give it a try.

Had a delicious meal of eggplant parmigiana with fries. Great service. Carrot cake was huge and also delicious. Just wish they used Breadworks bread rather than Mancini's.

I love this place, great portion sizes, and overall the waiting staff is nice and always helpful.

The food is awesome, I haven't eaten the veal as it's not my thing, but the chicken is great. I soup is nice as well doesn't taste bland or prepared. Overall my favorite part of the meal is the bread it always is and they have great dipping oil.

If you haven't been here try it out you'll be surprised at how awesome the small business is. We need too support local business and this one is a great one I'd like too see stay around. So stop by and get yourself some food from here

This is my usual date spot with my wife, so it's good if you need that time away from the kids.

Message too the owner: Please give Mandy a raise she deserves it, it seems like she's always on point and it seems like she's slightly running the show the last couple times I've stopped in. She always greets me and any other customer very politely. She deserves too be some sort of management because her work ethic is great it seems.

pretty good italian food for an incredible value. they had a 1lbs mussels for 10$ deal when we went which was excellent. Highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for a nice night out for a fair price.

We recently needed a venue for 30 people. The owner of Piacquadio 's called me promptly and was so helpful and nice. The Chicken Parmigiano and Baked Scrod were tender and delicious, the waitstaff were all so kind and courteous. A great restaurant all around!

Question: Why would you go anywhere else for lunch?
IMHO the best Italian restaurant. Period. Regardless of price, but truth be told, you ain't gonna beat their prices, either! Nice, attentive wait staff, decent (recently updated) atmosphere, and like I stated earlier excellent food! My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we both had the Chicken Cacciatore with green beans almondine, plus I had a side of pasta. The sauce is the best! A wonderful meal.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh, I've never had a bad meal and the service is always outstanding!

This place was great. The wait was a bit long (we had called to see if they take reservations, but they only take them 24 hours in advance, so we decided to try and just go anyway - definitely on us not them), but everyone was really nice while we waited, and they had menus for us to look at to speed up the process once we were seated. The waitress was really helpful in helping us pick out a wine, and the food came quickly and deliciously. We got the chicken parm and the lasagna (with extra meat sauce), as well as the zucchini and breadstick appetizers. Will be back :)

I absolutely love this resturant! I've never had a bad meal here and the servers are very friendly and helpful. Also, the wedding soup here is addicting!

This is really a local gem.
The food is consistently delicious and we'll presented. The staff is homey and kind and prompt. Some of the best Italian dishes you'll find that go beyond the standard pizza and pasta and chicken Parm.

I highly recommend it. Especially the picatta
