William Penn Memorial Cemetery

We have 6 family members laid to rest here. If money weren't an option I would have them moved. Over the last couple years the care of the cemetery has declined. Our vases were stolen from one grave, another broken. Not as a result of vandalism but mowing. Would not suggest as a final resting place.

someone stole my mother's flowers! Cut them right off, left the neatly trimmed bundle of stems! (more than once, too!) Who does that? Really? Are you SO hard up that you can't afford your own flower petals, you have to steal from the dead? From the grieving and suffering and innocent and the helpless? Well, they don't know my mom, or me! Prayin' the Lord makes is clear to you that's utterly wrong! No flower petal will make such an ugly soul beautiful again! Not if it is stolen! No perfume or scent of rose will make your ugliness acceptable - there is a special, horrible hell-hole for people like you, and i pray you get there soon! Amen! PS These stars are for my people, and my friends and neighbors who rest here. I have great respect for what this place represents and it is a shame and a sin that it has been so desecrated.

dont take stuff off plots days after easter so disrespectful. And stop running your mowers over headstone would you like it if it was your family.😥

I unfortunately have 5 loved ones who are buried at this cemetery. If I could move the graves elsewhere I would. No one answers their phone or returns calls. The grass is mostly weeds, and there is no care taken at all to protect the bronze markers or flower arrangements during mowing. One of my family markers is badly scratched. Multiple wreaths and bouquets have been run over. I can't even get info on restoring the markers even though its supposedly a service offered.

So sad. We visit annually our family graves. Although mowed the Graves are covered with grass, dirt and weeds have grown over the stones that most can not even be found and never will be. Took over an hour to find them and another 20 minutes removing dirt and weeds and cleaning them off. So many Graves will never be found as there is no family to care for them. What use to be a beautiful and well kept cemetery has become a sad site.

The worst! My parents vase was just cut off and to replace is $370! I talked to the owner and he told me flowers, vases, nothing around the stone is allowed during mowing season. He says it is in the deed and he is not running a charity!!! So, don’t expect to put flowers in the cemetery during the summer months😡😡😡

Overpriced, uncaring & poorly managed. Would never recommend
