Boonda's

This tiny spot has a minimal online presence, and not a lot of accessible information besides the number to get some pizza. In investigating local Pizza places around Pittsburgh, I had to ask myself, where does the name Boonda come from?

Well, wherever it comes from, it now belongs to a place that makes awesome pizza - and other food.

Trying out their stuff, I got Pepperoni Rolls, Garlic Parm Fries, and a large Pepperoni pizza for myself and the family. And a couple other things for another family member.

The price was very competitive, and the food great as well.

The hand tossed pizza is thin, but not too thin, with a good sauce-cheese ratio. It is definitely a greasy pizza, but not too greasy in my opinion. Then again, I like pizza whether its greasy or not, I just think they're two different tastes. The pepperoni was awesome as well, crisped, flavorful, and ratioed excellently.

The pepperoni rolls were also very good. You get a lot of them, and my only constructive criticism is maybe they should come with more sauce. But, they were fresh, had ample crust to them, cheesey, and absolutely loaded with pepperoni. Perhaps a bit zesty for some, but I liked it - along with something unique in the bready flavor of the crust.

Last for me were the garlic parm fries, which were some of the best I've had around. Most are often too oily, use overcooked fries, or a combination of both. These ones came fresh, golden, and with the right amount to coat and sit at the bottom of the tray. They softened up for sure in the garlic parm, but still had some crunch to them.

Knowing that they are close enough both to pick up myself, and to deliver to my place, I think Boondas will definitely be a regular. It was a rare win from the whole family.

I absolutely love this place. Its my favorite. From their sandwiches to pizza to wings everything is so good. Truly a good pizza shop. I get both delivery and take out and my food is always hot and fresh everytime. They have a good variety of different foods to get. Then, they have many more wings sauces than most pizza shops! I

The pizza here is so good! Hot, fresh and the seasoning is perfecto 🤌 Every delivery experience we've had has been good. They accidentally gave our pizza away tonight and brought us a free two liter. We honestly didn't even wait that long for there being a mistake.

Absolutely awesome! Love love love them! Food is always hot and delicious! Sometimes the wait is a little long but it is worth the wait! I have 4 boys so when i call in it can be loud and they have always been so patient and kind!
But...... We need the PB&J wings back 😀👍

I’ve only ordered three times. I ordered wings the first two times and they were awesome-jalapeño Sirachia and mango. Best wing sauce I ever had. Ordered a large spinach feta pizza and side salad today. Again fabulous. I mean even the salad was awesome. I thought it was kind of pricey -$30 with tip but this is huge! Easily 6 or 7 meals for me. I’ve lived nearby for 7 yrs but just recently discovered Boonda’s. Definitely will be a regular customer. Thanks!

Since moving into the West Mifflin area in April/May, we've found Boonda's to be the best all around pizza joint. Every time we order our food is delicious, arrives surprisingly quickly and we spend most of the time while we eat discussing the great amount of food and quality for the price. The Pick 3 Special is amazing. We love their wings and pizza. Also worth mentioning that their pizza is the good, traditional style, not the square, airy styrofoam style dough that so many places nearby use.

Wings ,hoagie, & pizza is what we always get & we always go back because it's good food. Also the wing sauces are amazing. The crew there are nice people as well. Thanks peeps

Boonda's Super B sandwiches are better than Primanti's. Don't forget to add an egg! Fast, friendly service. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I might be bias when giving review. But I love going to Booda's there pizza is cheap and tasty just a bit of a gressy taste if you are not a fan of that, then they have good specialty pizza. There rubin pizza is delicious, get the small one the flavor is more compacted.

They are one my families "GO TO" places that we can always get great food! Wings, hoagies & pizza are consistently great! 👌

Best pizza place in the pgh area

Best steak rolls! Always have our order correct, especially when we request banana peppers and a side of wet Cajun.

Ordered about 10 times from boondas, never waited longer than 45mins. The food is also consistently good. Definitely would recommend trying them out.

Order a take out pizza from here yesterday and it was very tasty!! Good prices too

Never really have a problem with the food since we order the samething everytime. But the counter people that wait on you is always questionable. You never know what attitude you getting.

They’re always prompt, and on the very rare occasion when something goes wrong, they’re fast and happy to correct it.

Wings and the bacon cheese fries are good. Not a fan of their pizza sauce though.
