This art gallery and store is a wonderful gem of Pittsburgh. The art inside has to be from artists that live in a certain mile radius of the city. Many of the pieces are unique. I also adore being around the beautiful grounds and the happy yellow mansion.

I’ve been a member of the ceramics studio for about a year now - great community and more than a fair rate for studio membership ($100/month max). Lots of different glazes and firing types available, which has really enabled me to expand my work. I’m also taking a drawing class this term, which so far has been great. Seasonal markets are also a really positive experience from both a buying and selling perspective

Summer camps are some of the best in the city. Before care, after care, stimulating and challenging curriculum with a variety of options. We chose to do six weeks and halfway through we are very pleased with our decision.

Love this community art center. Have taken a handful of adult classes and the instructors are top notch. Beautiful campus next to Mellon Park too.

When you have the itch to learn an art but can't commit to a college level, this is your place. Their summer camps are quality. This small but mighty organization has been a part of thousands of lives in this area. Why not make it part of yours?

My company provides IT support to Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media. To be perfectly honestly- we couldn't find a better, kinder, more helpful group of people if we tried. They're always an absolute pleasure to work with and always respectful and courteous.

I can't believe how good the ceramics studio is here. I've lived in Pittsburgh all my life, I had no idea there was such an amazing space for ceramics so close by. I've been in a handful of studios, this one is by far the best.

I took an enameling class with Lindsay Huff at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. The class had approximately 8 adult students for a three hour class for 4 weeks. We had a great time and learned several styles of enameling. My piece below could still use a polishing etc. I included a couple of pics of the steps. It was interesting and fun seeing what everone made.
