Veltre's Pizza & Sandwiches

Firstly, you will NOT find a crust exactly like veltres crust anywhere else in the city, there pizzas are made with finesse and they are particular about how they do it. They want you to have the best pie possible! Beyond that, everything I've ever eaten there was amazing! The biggest thing for me though is the family like, tight-knit closeness of the staff. They're truly remarkable!

Great place to eat in or take out. Their grilled chicken salad is my favorite. The pizza is pretty delicious, too. The owner is a good guy who gives back to the community. (He donated to a local shelter I used to work at. )

I was thrilled when learned that Patti's La Cucina was open for business. I ordered three family-size spinach and ricotta pizzas minus the tomatoes and a chef salad. I shared one pizza and the chef salad with my Dad, gave one pizza to my Dad's next door neighbor, and gave pizza to my sister and her family. Everyone absolutely raved about how great the pizza was and thanked me like I gave them a million dollars. Please don't change a thing with that pizza. It is absolutely perfect! Best wishes to the new management! In me, you have a customer for life! 😀❤

13 years or so I think and never once had a bad order. Always on point, prices aren't crazy, the pepperoni rolls are one of a kind these days with the perfectly heavy handed mozzerella cheese filling.

Then to top it off, "The Big Cheese" has never lost his customer service attitude with me over all these years, and I was a little **** back in the day. This place is a gem. Try them out.

I don't know who wrote that review, but it wasn't me! I've been eating at Veltres for years, never had poor service or bad food! I think Vince has the VERY BEST white spinach pizza in any Italian restaurant that I've eaten in and I always tell him that! All the food has always exceeded our expectations!

This will be my favorite pizza shop of all time! Best Italian hoagies and pizza I ever had. Love the little pepperonis. Also everyone that works there is so friendly. Hands down the very best!

I work across the street with a few other doctors and we come here on a weekly basis for lunch. Vince and the rest of the staff are awesome. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Pittsburgh! Best tuna sub of all time. ALL TIME. Best French fries. Best wedding soup! Go on a Wednesday and you may get a free piece of their pineapple upside down cake. I keep telling them that they need to put it on the menu and sell it!

Been in Pittsburgh 6 months from NYC this is the best pizza I've had here. Very pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. Quiet, clean and relaxing. Will definitely be back a lot

I'm from NYC, and I'm picky with my Pizza. Haven't found pizza out here in PA like NYC pizza, and let me tell ya, It's Spot On here at Veltre's. Great crust, Great cheese and sauce blend. All Around Great Pizza!!. I've found my new Pizza Home!!

It 's best tasteful on pizza. I love them white pizza topping spinach and tomato& ricotta chez with olive oil. But liking so much easy these spinach dog with dip marinated.

This brilliant place to eat is one of my favorites!! Love there Pizza's and there homemade meatball hoagies are so good too!! They deserve multiple trophies for being so Delicious!!

Not only is the food GOOD, but the people that work there are very friendly. I watched the owner (I think he was) give an elderly man first rate service and attention, then a disabled man came in with an electric chair and he was hunched over and he helped him take his jacket off and ser the table up for him. Now that's the kind of place I want to go to and like I said the food is GOOD!

The Italian hoagie was great. The hot sausage was spicy and really tasty. The staff was friendly. The food came out fast and very hot! We will be back.

Better value for pizza than where I used to always order (Lucianos). Plus the owner donated the spaghetti supplies to a fund raiser for a woman with cancer. This owner gives back to the community all the time. Am a customer for life!

Had the calzone what a great value! Delicious! Service-They aim to please. Great family run pizza restaurant. The sauce is awesome!

This pizza shop is soooo good.Everything is always excellent there and so are the prices.You get what you pay for.I would eat there at least 2 times a week and moved to little Boston and called to have them deliver and I literally live right across the bridge and they said they won’t cross the bridge to get here.If they did this is the only pizza shop I would get food from and I spend over 40 bucks each time I order.I just wish they would cross the bridge to deliver their great food

My first time there! It was very nice! The young lady at the counter Alexa was very very nice i was lost she gave me directions very polite! The pizza was very very good!!! I will be going back very nice experience!

You all know how to make a great pepperoni pizza and jumbo Fish sandwich with large large salad. Of course you already knew that.

Best hot sausage ever is veltre's pizza in White Oak and Braddock Hills. It is the hottest best hot sausage ever anywhere as far as I'm concerned
