NovaCare Rehabilitation - Waterfront

As part of my recovery from a torn rotator cuff, Abby and Julia have been fantastic in managing my physical therapy. They’re knowledgeable, explain what’s happening inside of my shoulder, explain my stretches and exercises clearly, monitor my progress and adjust my exercises as my shoulder heals and gains strength and flexibility. I would gladly recommend this NovaCare facility and the physical therapists who work there.

Abby is wonderful! She takes her time with you and explains everything. She is very hands on. She collaborates with her colleague, Matt, for a second opinion or suggestions. Both Matt and Abby are a wonderful team and I whole heartily would recommend either one of them. Great Team!

As an amputee, I’ve already had my share of therapy in-house and in the hospital. However, since coming to NovaCare, I’ve made considerable progress. I attribute it all to Melissa, who’s been absolutely wonderful in helping me to walk once again and using a cane. This is in just 2-3 months. Remarkable actually.

Prior to this, I was having hard time with everything. For example, I couldn’t make it up the front porch steps without significant help. Pathetic and a sad sight for sore eyes. Going down the steps wasn’t a whole lot better to be sure. Pitiful! Now what may have taken 15 to 20 minutes to get in the house, I’m now doing it in 10-15 seconds. That’s a milestone for me.

In my book, Melissa is a consummate pro. She has a great staff as well. Truly, she’s a “diamond amongst the rocks!” She makes it happen and she listens to your concerns as well. Others can easily learn from her. She’ll work with you closely and help you reach your goals. No nonsense. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone like her … anywhere!

In conclusion, she has a sweet personality on top of her professionalism, and a healthy sense of humor for good measure. If you are looking for outstanding physical rehabilitation, your search is over. Mine is! Melissa Antonoplos is aces with me. The “Top Gun” of physical therapy!

After a relatively invasive neck surgery, I had lost the majority of mobility to my right shoulder due to a nerve that was compromised. Melissa worked diligently with me to improve my mobility, and I cannot imagine how long it would’ve taken me to improve without her help, planning, and knowledge. The entire staff is nothing but friendly and helpful, I cannot recommend this facility more and am eternally grateful for Melissa for getting my shoulder functioning again.

Highly recommend this clinic for your therapy needs! The office staff is very kind, helpful and fun. Tommy is a great therapist - he really addressed my needs and gave exercises and stretches that can be done both at the clinic and at home on my own to keep strengthening. The atmosphere in the clinic is very positive, and most times very fun! Very pleased with the service received here!

Catherine is amazing! She explains the exercises clearly and checks in with me to make sure where my pain level is. Catherine is easy to talk to or lets me be quiet if that is what I want. PT can literally be a pain, but Catherine helps make it feel great! All e staff I have met them at NovaCare have been friendly and pleasant!

Erica my PT was excellent. She knew what stretches I should do ….explained them and even demonstrated some of them. She gently pushed me past my comfort zone on stretching which I was a little bit hesitant on doing. But I was amazed at some of the stretches I did without the pain that I was expecting. She is informative on her subjects on PT. I never felt rushed nor neglected. I actually looked forward to my sessions. Great experience. Thank you Erica for your help with my back pain.

My physical therapist Melissa is absolutely incredible! I sprained my ankle and have sprained it multiple times in my life. I needed help strengthening it and getting more motion. My mom suggested I go to Novacare and told me all about how wonderful Melissa is. Not only has Melissa helped me go from crutches to running, but she has built up my confidence and provided me with the tools needed to keep my ankle strong. I highly recommend Melissa and Novacare.

Christin and Kate were great during my month of therapy. They were patient and positive and honest/transparent about concerns with my injury. NovaCare has been overall a wonderful place for therapy during my last few injuries. Highly recommend.

The therapists at Nova are wonderful. I've never had to have physical therapy before, but with shoulder pain, it became necessary. I'm so glad I chose NovaCare. Catherine is truly knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent specialist in her field. Never pushing one past their threshold of uncomfortability and always communicating in a easy to comprehend but professional manner. I could not recommend her more.

Erica takes her time with me and asks questions to understand how I’m feeling. She patiently explains the exercises, sometimes more than once, so I know exactly how to do them. I highly recommend her.

PT Catherine Ferragonio is an absolute…. ROCK STAR….. ! Not only did she put me through a whole month of serious PT but she explained the importance of stretching and resistance training to maintain healthy joints . I owe so much to Catherine because when I entered my treatment I was in pretty intense knee pain and literally unable to sleep at night . Catherine fixed my problem and gave me tips to continue healthy workouts . Thank you Catherine 👏

I recently completed therapy at this NovaCare site. The service was exceptional from the office staff to the therapists. The atmosphere is professional but personal. It is a small operation as compared to some other rehab facilities but therapy needs are met.

I can't say enough good things about this office. The ladies at the desk are amazing as is the OT Cara. When I broke both bones in my arm I never in a million years thought that my arm would get back to how it was before my accident but Cara helped me to get it there. She was always encouraging and never pushy and thanks to her I have regained full flexion and extension in my arm (ortho doc was both pleased and amazed). Highly recommend Novacare.
