Priory Fine Pastries

We ordered 10 dozen cupcakes in 5 different flavors for our wedding and they were all delicious! All of our guests raved about them and asked where they were from. Kathy was very easy to work with and even delivered our order on a Sunday, when the bakery is closed, for a very worthwhile additional fee.

Best experience working with the Priory for both our Wedding Cake and Rehearsal Dinner Cookies for our wedding weekend 5/14-5/15. Kathy was super friendly and easy to work with. A local, grounded bakery with delicious desserts and beautiful presentations. Can't beat it!

I used to work near the Priory and would pop in regularly. I was nearby today so decided to make a detour and stop again. It was just as good as I remembered! It was my husband's first trip and he wants to go back again soon!

I had a wonderful experience with these guys, specifically Ali. Absolutely excellent bakery. I ordered my daughter's birthday cake here. I must have emailed Ali ten times back and forth to get all the details I wanted figured out. She was so nice and helpful and answered every email quickly- just took the stress and worry right out of it for me. And they nailed it. The cake was beautiful and even more importantly-DELICIOUS! My daughter loved it. Everyone did! Thank you Priory! Excellent work!

This lovely place has the best donuts, cakes, cookies... And at a reasonable price! I order my children's cakes here every year. They are always beautiful, delicious and affordable. I recommend this place to every one!

Absolutely the best! We live 45 minutes away on a low traffic day and try to make it once a month! Yum!

We were in town for a concert and the next morning saw Priory Fine Pastries was was within walking distance from our hotel. The staff was very friendly and they had a great selection. My husband said his cannoli was the best he has had in YEARS. My cream puff was amazing as well. We are definitely stopping by again when we leave to take some pastries for our trip home!

The Priory Fine Pastries made our wedding cake (red velvet + vanilla custard and berries) and it was absolutely delicious! The guests loved it and they were super responsive via email and phone in the planning leading up to the event (as well as our numerous scheduling snafus due to COVID). The tasting was also so fun and we rented our wedding cake stand from the Priory as well and it was gorgeous! 10/10 recommend.

Their cupcakes and donuts are pretty good. Service was never short of friendly and timely. I wanted to order a cake once and they were pretty upfront about the prices and times (decided not to go with them). Reason for the 5 stars is they're open 6 AM and they have the best cinnamon rolls I've come across.

This place is fantastic. I don’t even like or pastry items that much, but my wife chose this place for our wedding cake and this place is amazing!

We just recently ordered a cake for our daughter’s first birthday and it was a hit. She loved her little smash cake. And we loved the adult version as well.

Excellent prices and friendly environment. Their pastries are really good and their pies are terrific. I started a new tradition in the family, when I bought my first Priory pies. Now, fro every Holiday and family occasion, they ask me to bring the Priory's blueberry and apple pie - no matter the season!
I don't live in the area any more, but I used to have a quick breakfast there often. A Pittsburgh gem and a neighborhood treasure!

I cannot believe I've lived here a year and just found this amazing bakery! First of all, it is so cool inside. Perfectly designed small space, and so clean. Definitely is a pleasant surprise on E. Ohio St. The donuts are big and the buttercream is now my new favorite. So creamy and not crazy sweet. I also had a raspberry pecan muffin that was out of this world. Perfect texture, again not insanely sweet, large raspberries, sugar crystals on top, perfection. Heaven sent. I will be a regular at this bakery.

I grew up south of Pittsburgh and haven't been back in a long time. We went to Pittsburgh for a football game and seen the bakery on line so I wanted to stop in. The bakery case was full of all the flavors of home. The bakery really took me back. We called them Lady locks but the cream horns tasted like my aunt made them. The nut rolls were great. Mom made those. The pastry dough was very nice and flaky. Yes I ate a dinner plate of sweets with coffee while I was there. If in Pittsburgh there are a lot of good bakeries but this one is on the top of my list. Thanks Bruce

The BEST gem on the North Side. I have ordered their cheesecakes which are TO DIE FOR! And you can't beat their cupcakes and their cannot! Also they have an OUTSTANDING Pineapple Upside-down cake, personalized size!

Very nice bakery. Had coffee and a pastry at 6 AM twice during our visit to Pittsburg. My granddaughter had a cupcake which was excellent. (Yes, she got up that early.) Ohio street looks kind of tough but every one minded their own business when I walked down the street at 3 PM. Would recommend getting volunteers to clean up the litter in the street. Will definitely read my newspaper and have a treat there on our next visit.

We have had most of our grandchildren’s birthday cakes done here and I can’t say enough good about the work that this bakery does. We will definitely continue to support this local business!! Also they are very wonderful to work with!!!
