Pop Culture Comics & Toys (Sussex Ave)

A favorite comic shop for myself and for my kids, with a fantastic mix of collectibles and great selection of comics. Tony, Matt and the rest of the staff make this shop what it is and provide a great customer experience. Repeat customer always.

Tony & crew are the best in Pittsburgh. The selection is great and priced right. Ive traded in media more than once and never felt ripped off with there appraisal valve of my items. I will continue to do regular business with these guys.

This is a neat place they have a huge selection of comics, toys, and even films for great prices. I went in to sell some comics I had which was very nice. The staff is very friendly. Recommended for any fan who collects comics and toys.

I went there yesterday and they were more than welcoming. Down to earth guys who helped me and my wife with all of our questions. Had really top notch pricing on top of it. Most shops don't really go out if their way to help and these guys did. Don't hesitate to shop there.

I can honestly lose hours in this store between buying great pieces and making an enormous wish list for future trips. Their pricing is fair and the customer service isn't pushy or elitist. The stock rotates really well. You can tell these guys love their job and actively seek out some cool stuff. Items range from standard collectibles to some cool niche items so you won't be disappointed visiting this place.

What a fantastic store! Pop Culture Comics is my go-to place for comics, toys and collectibles. I’ve had to downsize recently and sell a bunch of old toys and comics and this is the one place in Pittsburgh I trust for fair and honest buy/trade offers. (Trust me, I’ve been to a lot of local places and Pop Culture gives me the best deals!) Be warned, they have so much cool stuff, you might walk out with more than you brought in :) Also, they’re really NICE. This store and staff is amazing. They have so much stuff it’s insane. Graded books, pricey books, back issues, dollar books, discount trades and don’t even get me started on the toys. The staff is outstanding. Friendly and knowledgeable. I could spend the entire day just checking out back issues and talking.

What a great store!! I found all sorts of unique gifts for my friends and family and was able to find rare comic books and vintage toys to add to my collection. The staff is friendly, couteous and go out of their way to help you find your treasures!! You won't leave empty handed :)

I've sold numerous toys and figures to this store. They are extremely generous offering 50% cash of their total worth. They also have a huge selection of POP figures and others. Giant backlog of comic books as well as new ones too! Worth checking out!

This is a really cool place with a lot of neat collectors items! I took my mom down to see if the Pez dispensers were worth anything and the people working there were really helpful! This place is worth a visit!

What a great comic book addition to the South Hills! It never disappoints to pull the money out of you for anything nostalgic. Will certainly be returning. Great, helpful staff. Everything you could want (except for Soundwaves tapes.... 😋 ).

Well stocked & categorized store. It had exactly what I'd been searching for to start completing my collection of Marvel Epic Ill. & Heavy Metal Magazines. With friendly and knowledgeable staff, I'm sure to return for my reads!!
