Pittzarella

A pizza place with a few locations in the Pittsburgh area. Aptly named. This one was closest to me, and I was able to confirm via phone that they were still operating. Their online presence is minimal, and I'm not sure the site's working right now. They do have at least one of the food delivery apps (Grubhub?), and that's what told me they were still in business.

How was that? The very high and recent reviews, which I agree with!

The place is easy to get to. Quaint. And has some space inside to sit. Maybe even eat. So not the most minimal of pizza places around by far, but still - the food takes center stage.

The pizza was delightful. Thin crust, crispy, and a greasy pizza. I don't have a preference for or against greasy pizza, as long as it's good whichever way it comes. However, if you're a fan of a greasy pizza, and a crisp, thin, new-york style pizza grabs your attention? Try this place quick.

The pepperoni roll was also a great time. It comes in a long, curved shape sliced into sections. Not unlike a big, cheesy, pepperoni croissant. I liked it. They provided a ton of sauce for it, and it is loaded with a ton of pepperoni. I might honestly have to give the Steak one a try as I can imagine how good that'll get.

The Calzone I got was very good too. I got the five cheese, and it was a very rich, decadent item. It didn't keep very long, and I didn't have as much help finishing as I might've liked. So contextually, hindsight being 20/20, I might've preferred going with the steak. But I still enjoyed my choice.

Some steak hoagies were bought too. Supreme and not. My family enjoyed them. The pickier of the steak hoagie eaters wasn't too impressed, but still thought it was alright. The other was genuinely impressed - albeit after a long shift at work. So, I'd call that a passing grade.

So, for another local slice of good pizza, I'd have to say stop by Pittzarella when you get the chance!

I know they are known for good pizza, but these wings are perfect. Everytime. I wouldn't get wings from anywhere else.

We came down from Erie to spend the weekend and were lucky enough to come across this place! We got a 3- topping pizza and ate there. This pizza was truly one of the best we've ever had!! The sauce was great, and somehow they achieved the perfect combination of flavors. This was a great pizza, and we got to watch some football while we ate. Great dinner and time well spent! Thank you!!

Have never gotten a bad pizza from here. Always fresh and very tasty. Their specialty pizzas are excellent too. They have the best wings around.

I only get to experience this place when I come in to visit my SO family, and I never fail to grab a XL Jesse James! Be sure to try it out, you won't regret it!

The best pizza in Pittsburgh, highly recommend the jesse james. I've eaten here for years, the quality has always remained the same.

My family and I eat here pretty often. This is our first pick when we order pizza. The crust is nice and crispy but soft and moist inside. The toppings are perfectly put on. There's the right amount of everything on each slice of pizza. When we get delivery the food always arrives hot and fresh as well!

Actually was pleasantly surprised by this place the pizza was pretty darn good, the hoagie was savory (had steak n cheese), and broccoli bites were great.

Hot sausage pizza and Italian hoagie was delicious.

Gave them a try last Saturday....I'm very picky when it comes to White pizza,most shops don't know how to make it properly....theirs is 100% spot on..premium cheese,oozing with spices and olive oil,and a light crust!!!!! Loved it so much,got another one Tuesday along with a traditional red which had just the right amount of tang to the sauce, premium cheese,freshmushrooms and the smaller pepperoni that curls up and holds the grease..my new go to place

Amazing pizza, great hoagies, nice appetizers. fast and great delivery. The crust is great, definitely different from what I'm used to in NJ, but a great kind of different. I have to force myself to save some leftovers so I can enjoy it again

I ordered today for the first time and they were friendly and polite on the phone, but me food was DELICIOUS I ordered the 5 cheese Alfredo and I'm very satisfied. I will definitely order from them again it was so gooood I called them to let them know how gooood everything was. Thanks again.

Amazing food great great deals the only thing I don't like is that they don't deliver to duquesne past 5pm and I hate ordering from other places because pizzarella is by far way better tasting

Best pizza in west mifflin hands down. They don't skimp on the toppings and they have excellent service. I have yet to order something I didn't like. Hoagies, wings, and pizza are all delicious here. Also my deliveries tend to arrive earlier than the anticipated time!

I just moved to West Mifflin about a month ago; I'm originally from Washington PA area so our top Pizza over there is Osso's. Pittzarella is right up there with Osso's. This was my first time ordering and the crust was nice and crunchy, the sauce is a little bit sweet, the cheese tastes like REAL cheese and not artificial cheese some pizza places manage to have - yuck, and the pepperoni has that spicy little kick at the end. Overall it was absolutely fabulous. For a girl that grew up on Pizza and has tried Pizza all over the country and world, this will be my regular spot! So excited it's only 4 minutes from me.

This place has one of the best pizza and steak roll i have ever had. If you are in the W. Mifflin/Munhall area definitely try it out. They also have good salad options. Always got fresh and tasty food.

They have the best food. My family and I order from them at least once a week. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend getting lunch or dinner there.

Great pizza and wings! Still love the Mediterranean pizza, it's a great change from the standard pizza. I was never a wing lover until I had their wings.
