Great place to stop for some delicious treats. $2.65 for a cheese Danish and chocolate muffin. Can't beat it.

Their burnt almont tort cake is a 10/10 so good.

Potomac Bakery knocked it out of the park! We hosted our first company event, and I hate having to touch other people's food if I can help it, so I decided to look for a cupcake-cake. Potomac Bakery did an amazing job, and it was worth every penny!

All of our employees loved the cupcakes, and even better: it looked like a simple sheet cake with our printed logo on it, but it was easier to pull a part to provide individual cupcakes during a busy event.

We ordered a 60-piece cupcake-cake (30 vanilla and 30 chocolate) with buttercream frosting. Delicious!

Christine was so nice to deliver it for me (small fee, but worth it!).

I will definitely be contacting them again for any bakery needs :)

I got several birthday cakes always very satisfied. But this year I had a special request a picture of a cake. Emailed pictures, I called and was told yes they can make the cake. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I was so Happy!!! Taste delicious as always! I have to share my pictures. Thank you Potomac Bakery. Made my day extra special 🥰😍

I hired Potomac Bakery to create my wedding cake 1+ month out and they did an outstanding job. Not only was it deliciously baked by Shane (chai and buttercream icing) but it was beautifully decorated by Duba. We so appreciated the care and detail put into the cake and the reliability of the business. Thanks for a great service! Highly recommended to anyone that needs baked goods for their next special occasion.

I just started going to Potomac bakery recently and I'm very impressed with their nice variety of baked goods and pleasant service. A good place to stop in for a quick breakfast pastry before work. I really loved their sticky bun and the custard-filled chocolate icing donut. A dozen costs $12. (This is a real old-school Pittsburgh bakery so don't complain if you stopped in expecting a Parisian pastry!)

The Potomac Bakery is a family favorite! We love the chocolate chip muffins, and the donuts are delectable. Iced sugar cookies from Potomac Bakery are amongst the greatest I’ve ever eaten. Potomac bakery is a great part of our community.

Small little bakery stock full of beautiful pastries. Ordered a custom cake from them and it was gorgeous as well as delicious.

I placed an order for a two-tiered birthday cake that had lots of features - flowers, drip, stripes, the works. I sent a photo for reference and they worked with me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The result was absolutely beautiful and delicious. I’m so grateful that the artists at Potomac Bakery were able to make my specific vision come to life.

I really enjoyed the baked goods here ! The pistachio muffin was delicious and not too sweet. The cinnamon crunch muffin and pumpkin muffin were great too. The prices are fair and they have different options all the time. I will definitely be buying breakfast here more often! They also have sweet muffin options like blueberry and chocolate chip. I definitely recommend this place!

Always do a phenomenal job on their bake goods. Everything from new years pretzel, to cakes, brownies, cookies, lady locks, and so much more! My family has been going to Potomac bakery for cakes and goodies for YEARS!

Great little bakery! I stopped for the first time last week to pick up a last minute birthday treat for a friend. They had a nice selection of mini cakes, and the person working highly recommended the lemon cake. It was delicious - very soft and just the right amount of lemon flavor! I’ll definitely be back.

Potomac bakery is one of the best around. They did such a great job on my son birthday cake. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they went above and beyond to make it the exact same. The baked goods are delicious.

The bakery delivers items for the cafeteria where I work (pastries, cookies, donuts, muffins, etc). They also cater all the parties, for my company, with custom cakes that are always really good and fresh! The only thing is that the buttercream is really sweet (in my opinion) but still good! The delivery drivers that make the deliveries overnight usually have a bag of some donuts/cookies for whoever opens the kitchen door for them. They are all really friendly; Bill N. is so friendly and is always asking about me and my family. He is such a nice guy who's very professional and personable!! I have yet to go to the actual bakery but with tasting what I have from them I would definitely consider it. My personal favorites are their cake donuts, cinnamon muffins, and sprinkle/iced cookies.
