-so I go into the shop a couple weeks back to get candles, etc. I go back this past week and the miss working had told me I had a $14 credit from an overcharge last time. Like what, I’m sobbing! That is integrity because I never batted an eye. Thank you so much to the team members who make that shop so special. You’ll forever have my trust and my business!

Wonderful occult shop located in the heart of castle Shannon. Tons of product: Crystals, tarot, jewelry, incense, candles, sprays, etc! They have SO much and something for everyone from those who practice to a newbie who wants to explore; you won’t be disappointed.

The staff is a++! Always great conversation and very helpful with any questions you have.

Nicer folks you’ll not find. They have excellent prices on unique gifts and have been in business for decades. Moonstones has quickly become one of my favorite new stores.

I love this place! They have a wide selection of crystals, tons of candles, tarot cards, and so much more. Their jewelry is cute and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have a store cat! We got our wedding favors from them and they were easy to work with and helped get us the best price for what we wanted, as well as offering substitutes or recommending different qualities and quantities of crystals to meet our needs. They are highly educated. I appreciate their safety protocols during COVID as well with masks being required, a bin system (if you touch a crystal you don't buy they clean them), and available hand sanitizer. I recommend stopping by!

Moonstones is by far my go to metaphysical/crystal shop in Pittsburgh. There are so many beautiful pieces of jewelry and specimens to choose from. I am constantly amazed by the affordable prices and stunning quality! I cannot recommend this place enough!

We stopped by the shop today on a whim as it was on our way home from an event we were attending. We were not disappointed. There was so much variety and the prices were great, we even received a few free samples.

There are still mask requirements and a unique protocol for shopping that a few others have mentioned in their reviews, but nothing unreasonable. The only odd thing was the fact that the clerk unlocks and locks the door when you first arrive, but you understand that when you enter the shop and they explain their safety protocols.

I've read a few reviews about rude staff and negative energy. My daughter and I definitely did not receive that vibe while we were there. The clerk was pleasant and checked on us a few times to see if they could get anything for us that was in the display cases or answer any questions we had.

All in all we had a wonderful experience and plan on visiting again.

Went with my fiancée and we both really enjoyed it. Very large selection and reasonably priced as well. I don't know much about crystals, but my fiancée said they were good quality.

I really love this shop. The staff has always been so nice and welcoming. I appreciate the attention to safety details during the pandemic as well. It makes me feel so much more comfortable going into a shop that wants to look out for everyone and themselves.

The selection is unmatched, the prices are more than appropriate, and any questions I have as someone who is only a year into practicing her craft is invaluable. I have brought several friends when they've come to visit me in Pittsburgh and they're always impressed.

Was such a wonderful shop and had so many pieces I’ve been searching forever for! The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. The store has such a nice calm energy and they have a cute cat! I can’t wait to visit again.

My friend asked me to take her here and I don’t know much about what this store sells, but what I can say is that the staff is so helpful in offering assistance, being friendly, and just overall seeming hospitable. It was a warm and welcoming place with probably the largest variety of gemstones, incense, books, and more in Pittsburgh. They have a really cute cat too which is super friendly! It was a great experience :)

Updating this review to reflect five out of five stars as the shop is doing a very nice job providing a safe space. Most of the staff is very warm and welcoming. The knowledge of the products is always appreciated. Constructive feedback for the shop : very long check out process the last couple times we were in due to some ringing up errors. Some of the prices are either hard to spot without assistance or can be confusing as written.

Its a great shop with tons to offer for anyone that cares to browse or has a specific need in mind.

Moonstones is one of my favorite places to go when I’m feeling down. Not only do they have a store full of amazing stones, jewelry, and other spiritual items but their staff there is very knowledgeable. If you ask them thad you are looking for a stone to help with creativity, not only would they find what your are looking for, but explain the properties as well.

They also take their COVID policies very seriously. I know some people might be turn off by their strict rules, but it is for their safety and yours.

So if you are looking for gift for your love one, or just want ti know more about the spiritual side of things, then look no further Moonstones, a fun local business.

Stopped in yesterday, by appointment and it was my first visit. The welcoming energy of the store and staff felt wonderful. The products they have are wide and varied. Great quality stones, beautiful jewelry and knowledgeable staff, what a find. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

I visited for the first time over the weekend and I could not have been more pleased with my visit. I was greeted by Leland who was so pleasant and helpful with anything I needed and helped me find some wonderful pendants. Everything is affordable and the environment is so pleasant. I 100% will be coming back and with friends next time ;)

Lots of people post about feeling like the staff thought they were trying to steal. I wanted to add my two cents after reading reviews then visiting myself. Moonstones has a very large selection of many unique items. They sell a lot of crystals at very cheap prices, probably the cheapest in the area. That being said, having worked in retail at some point in my life and dealing with petty theft: excellent customer service is honestly the best and most effect shoplifting deterrent staff has. They probably don't suspect every single person that comes thru the doors is a thief but to protect their product and BE ABLE TO KEEP THEIR PRICES LOW FOR THE CUSTOMERS they are programmed to maximum customer service everyone who comes though the doors. It weeds out the thiefs from honest folk. Don't take it so personally or think everything is about you. If i didn't know about theft and customer service, i probably would have been offended at all the constant attention staff gives customers. That aside, it's a nice little (actually pretty good sized but still somehow cozy) shop that i enjoyed very much. My only suggestion is that for the stones/crystals, think about giving customers the option to take a little slip of paper with them that has the items info on it. For those of us who buy several things at once but forget later what they were called. Like, in the same bin with the stones, a several small slips the same dimensions as the bin it's in, that they can take with the stone when they buy it.

The most recent review under mine is probably tripping bc they were asked to wear a mask to enter the store. These kinds of ppl get on my nerves. It obvious that the store owners truly care about the health of all that enter there’s. They definitely did the right thing by not allowing your negative energy in their space. They should definitely consider going to a Christian church. They love privileged, self centered, anti mask wearers there🙄

My last review was under Stacey Hinkle: Anyone who gave this place a bad review must of been on something or just stuck up. I visited this place for the first time today and had probably the best time in a place in a very long time. Everyone made me laugh, great conversations, lots of helpful advice, and just all around positive atmosphere. They asked for my bag like everyone else and they kept it in a safe spot, put a number on it, and gave me a tag with the matching number. So they made sure my stuff was safe. I got everything I've been looking for and more. Prices were extremely fair. I've been to other places who sold the same items for more. So actually this place gave good prices and deals. I highly recommend everyone who loves stones, spiritual items, charms, and more to go to this place. I drove an hour to get here and it was totally worth it. Can't wait to go back. Blessed be.

I've been frequenting this store for almost a year now and I love it. There is a wide selection of beautiful jewelry that is displayed well. They have all sorts of things that you can't always just go to another shop and pick up - I got a beautiful set of runes a few months ago. They also have loose beads that you can buy just what you need to make your own jewelry using all sorts of stones and crystals. The staff are all helpful and knowledgeable and the cat is adorable. I don't mind checking my bag when I walk in because it frees up my arms to fully look at every item.
