Wow! The Triangle Bar and Grill in Swissvale looks unassuming outside, but inside was bright and welcoming. Francisco (he told us to call him Pancho like his friends do) was so helpful as we were trying to figure out what we wanted. What a salesman too! He convinced us we'd want leftovers for our "long drive tomorrow" (his words, we told him we were from Indy ...). When we got our sandwich, it was enough to feed 10 people, easy! Indeed, we had dinner, lunch on the road the next day, another lunch the day after ... and we still had some leftover. We ordered the Original Italian Battleship. Great taste, good value. We love to support this type of small business! Give them a try - remember to bring cash only.

Every time I come back to Pittsburgh, this place is on the list. Know what you want before you come in, bring cash, and don't come in unprepared. It's simple, good, and worth the money.

We ordered battleship Italian. It was freakin long first off. It was so fresh and satisfying. The atmosphere was cool, everyone was friendly. They have cookies there… get the chocolate chip and they also have peanut butter cookies. You will not disappointed. Wait wasn’t long. Heat the cookies up on 15 sec and do what you like to it and get a bag of chips.

Go for the classic Italian sub, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have cheap drinks too with a very small, yet moderately well stocked bar, including frozen drinks. Cash only, ATM on site.

As a former battleship sailor, had to try it. Huge and price is good for what you get. Recommend battleship lager as well

I was looking for the ultimate hoagie spot in the Burgh. This did not disappoint. The staff mixed with the atmosphere could not be beat. If you're looking for the sandwich spot, look no further.

Got there before the Saturday Rush. MUST have cash or use the ATM in the spot. Purchased a combo destroyer of capicola and turkey and to torpedoes (turkey and corn beef) always a generous serving of protein and rabbit food (lettuce and tomatoes, onion) on top. Never disappoint. Will be back again!

Lives up to its reputation the best cold cuts sandwich place in the Pittsburgh area. Remember Destroyer is one person battleship is two. Also hits all of the awesomely old school asthetic vibes.

Tremendous sandwich. You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients. Starting with the delectable bread and succulent meats. Please open a Triangle in Ambridge, Pa. It will do very well there.

Best Italian Huggies for miles around. If you don't know now you know. People from all over the area have been coming to this place for decades. So if you're in the area drop in and get one of the most delicious sandwiches you ever have.

Tried and true. A Pittsburgh staple. I take it for granted sometimes that I live so close, but the Triangle never lets you down. Get the super battleship, or cap and corned beef; you'll thank me later.

When you think of pittsburgh institutions of food you need to meet certain criteria. Quantity, value, quality and community reach. The triangle has been providing deliciously enormous sandwiches to the Swissvale/Edgewood community for generations. The sandwiches are perfect for a group to watch the games with, and they even have a little bar inside if you wanna keep the party there. The bread is soft and the meat can be hot or cold. No one’s going hungry with one of these battleships around

My go to for a delicious sandwich. I call ahead for pick up most times but it's great to go in and watch the team make your sandwich.

We love getting Battleships from Triangle. I frequently grab 2 and take them to my wife and her coworkers. They are always fresh and delicious. I recommend you head to Triangle for a few Battleships today!

Love the cheesesteak hoagies and hot pickles yummy. I only wish the cooked fries to go with the sandwiches they are worth every penny. Cheesesteak lettuce tomato onion mushroom hot peppers. Yummy
