The Bakery Society Pittsburgh

Really a great bakery. Something new everyday. If you have the chance to stop in you really should give it a try. The people that work there are also very friendly. They make you feel like your family that stopped in for dessert.

Bought a sandwich from Commonwealth Sandwich Company which is located inside the Bakery Society. Followed it up with a cream puff. Meats and sweets. Highly satisfied customer. Will definitely go back again!

Amazing concept; delicious goodies. So far I have had cookies and cupcakes from here and have never been disappointed.

Such a cool thing to have in the neighborhood. Got cookies and a pineapple upside down cake and everything is delicious.

Outstanding crossants!

Bread itself was very good, but was sliced much too thick (5/8"). Suggest the general manager and/or bread baker encourage sales personnel to ASK CUSTOMERS THEIR PREFERENCE. Would have enjoyed the bread much more if it were sliced a bit thinner. Next time I hope I am asked and I will answer '3/8", please'.

Great cookies

Just stood in this store for 15mins while the cashier spoke to another customer who was looking to rent the space. NEVER acknowledged me or my 3yr old who ONLY wanted a cookie. We walked out and STILL weren't acknowledged. TERRIBLE customer service. And the pastries didn't even look that good. The old owner of this bakery would NEVER. Save yourself a trip!

I've now been sorely disappointed Twice with the misrepresentatbeing on boardions of any culinary skills being on board. I took issue to the quality, I found profound lack of flavor and freshness.....not to mention gourmet prices. I feel your out of your elements.....go back to start... Do not pass Go......yes the cooking skills assessment.. FAILED IT

Too politically involved. Is a shame that a person put up all their money to give my.oliver a chance yet the borough not only paid for the bakery but promote this bakery. The bakery that was there for the borough when nobody was investing. I think the borough has no business injecting tax payer money into business projects especially since it canalabizes a bakery that put it's hard earned personal money into a long shot, Mt. Oliver. My personal opinion is that wasting ecdc money which comes from tax payers the politics should back an established business and loo to bring businesses that wont canalabize our existing store fronts.
