Veltre's Pizza

We had a very good experience with Veltre's. Called at 11:00 and asked if they could deliver several pizzas, at noon. We were having a training day at our business, and called last minute for lunch. The man that took my order figured out how many pizzas we would need and made suggestions on what to order. Pizzas arrived on time and the delivery driver was very friendly and brought them in for me since they were heavy.

The pizzas were very good, everyone enjoyed them. We had a variety, including white pizza. We will definitely order from them again!

This was a first visit based on reviews. Two of us ordered an Italian wrap, Reuben sandwich and two Italian dogs for lunch. All came out with perfect taste and temperature. Since they specialize in pizza, so the Italian dog is showcase of the dough and its sauce.
It is a small take out place. Walk in customers order and pay at the counter. They have only four or five bar stools to sit inside.

Really good pizza, I love the crust. The grandma’s pie was also a treat, kinda like deluxe oversized garlic breadsticks.

The first time I ordered from them, my cheese pizza was delicious. Thick crust. Perfect taste. The cheese and sauce were good as well. I just wish there was more sauce. Within a week I ordered again. LOL I a veggie pizza and added sausage. So delicious again! Everyone is nice and they are quick.

Veltre's makes an excellent pie. The best and most reliable establishment between Squirrel Hill and Turtle Creek.

We've been customers for many years and we've never had anything less than a great pie from Veltre's.

Started ordering from Veltre’s when I worked and lived in Swissvale since1987!! Their pizzas and Italian dogs are the best and everything you order is always fresh and hot!! When my daughter in NY comes home to visit the first thing she wants to do is order the Italian dogs!!

Their white tomato pizza is excellent!

This location has been my go-to for several years now. I've never had a bad meal, and the service is always solid. Their white pizza is some of the best I've ever had. I love that they use chopped tomatoes instead of sliced. Excellent steak sandwiches, and the grilled chicken salad is another favorite of mine. If I am having guests over and we're ordering pizza, this is where I order from. I feel really fortunate having a place like this that's within a 5 minute drive of my home.

Called in a pick up order from the turnpike. Got there a little early, but had a great conversation with the staff and my preteen loved watching them make pizza. Never gets old. Probably had the best pizza that we've gotten there. Cost more than chains, but quality beyond others.

I have not found a better all around pizza. Great atmosphere when picking up pizza.Easy parking. Fast and consistent quality cooked pizza.

I ordered a Cheesesteak Hoagie at 6:32pm and it got here at 6:54pm.. 22 min. And it was delicious.

Inorder from them frequently. I'm a big fan of their Grandma's pie. It's super filling and delicious. My partner and I split it and there is always at least 3 slices left. And that's a small, lol. Great value. Also, their wraps are solid too. Awesome crunchy fries. We have lived in Edgewood for years now and this is out go to for takeout especially pizza. It also helps that the people who work there are also so courteous and down to earth. Like, they have that good pizza shop feel where they're always laughing and joking with each other.
You guys are great. I always song your praises in my neighborhood.

I grew up on Veltres. I have missed going there. Pizza was excellent. LOVE the Italian Dogs. The French Fries were delicious. I don't KNOW why I haven't ordered since they moved to Braddock Hills.

I'm so fortunate to have a Veltre's close by! I crave it! It's everything you want in a pizza (++) place! The pizza is fabulous- from the perfectly baked crunchy crust, to the flavorful sauce, up to the pepperoni and melted cheese! And the salads are fresh and so satisfying! Having one tonight with a slice, and I'm really looking forward to it! Oh, did I mention that the staff is great?! Well, they ARE!

My favorite place in swissvale now(braddock hills) other than the triangle. This location to me is better than the original location in Oakmont. I've been going there for close to 20 years and nothing has changed! Everything on the.menu is delicious. Love all the people who work there.

Some of the best Pizza around. I always love stopping. Friendly environment, nice staff. A+
