Pretty little jewelry shop with lots of wonderful pieces that have a story to tell! I bought my wedding ring this weekend from Ms. Harris. She is truly a force of nature! Check out her shop before she retires. Her prices are very reasonable and she knows her inventory. She's got more than vintage engagement and wedding rings; she's got hat pins, chatelaines, cuff links, brooches, cameos, mourning pins, earrings... you name it! And, the best part is you get to spend time hearing Ms. Harris' story. I wish I could have spent more time with her. I hope she has a happy retirement. As a side note, the goldsmith she contracts to do her repairs and sizing is delightful to talk to and very knowledgeable (if you need your ring sized, it is not included in the cost of the piece). I found it prices to be very reasonable, however, and I am excited to see what my ring will look like when he is finished working on it.

We loved working with her to replace a lost wedding ring. Surprised it was now referred to as vintage but oh well! Marlene had her supplier replicate the band along with a duplicate for just in case plus one for my wife.

Marlene has an amazing collection of vintage jewelry! She is very knowledgeable and generous with her time (I was there a few hours making my final decision). My husband and I love our unique rings and would recommend to anyone!

The Marlene Harris Collection came as a recommendation from Mary Jo at Concept Art Gallery (another favorite). Marlene's collection is so impressive! She is a delight to talk to and she does not hold back her opinions, for better or worse. The pricing is very fair. Easy to get a great deal on a beautiful ring. We bought our wedding bands here, and I am so happy with our decision. I plan on coming back in the future and recommend her to friends.

I don't have words to describe how incredible Marlene and her collection are. My fiancé and I were looking for a unique antique men's wedding band. Before stumbling onto Marlene's website, we had found only bland and overly expensive pieces. I called Marlene to ask about a ring on her site and, within an hour, she called me back and began pulling rings for us. The next day, he drove to Pittsburg and Marlene spent 4+ hours with him selecting the perfect ring (for him) and wedding jewelry (for me). Of the dozens of antique and estate jewelry stores we visited, Marlene had by far the largest selection and most exquisite pieces. Marlene herself was candid and funny, sharing advice and expertise. She went out of her way to make wedding-band shopping a special and memorable experience. My partner chose a gorgeous 18k gold snake ring from the 1930s, and couldn't be happier with it. I truly can't recommend Marlene highly enough. Buy your ring here--you won't regret it!

I absolutely love the engagement ring I got from this wonderful shop! They are appointment only with Covid and were both safe and accommodating. My ring arrived promptly and is absolutely stunning! The best gem this store has, though, is the proprietor. Marlene and her husband offer nothing but the highest level of service and most gorgeous collection. They were a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to purchase more pieces from them in the future!

Better late than never... My experience with Marlene and her store was 2 1/2 years ago. I started looking for my perfect wedding band several months before my wedding date. All I knew was that I wanted it to be white gold or silver, and antique looking. The only thing close to what I wanted at our local stores was kind of narrow and about 3 times more than we wanted to spend. So I looked online for antique rings, but with my size 3 ring finger, nothing was going to work. Then I came across Marlene's site, and not only did she have a beautiful selection of antique rings, but she also has her own designs that look antique, and I fell in love with several! The rings that are her designs can be made in any size, which meant I could actually have a beautiful band with little diamonds all over it made to fit my size 3 finger! And the pricing was perfect! I ordered my band over the phone, and we discussed what size I should get. When I received it, I was dismayed to find it was a little too loose, which meant it would slide off my finger whenever my hands would get wet or when my hands would get cold. I figured since I had ordered online and it was a special order, that I would just have to figure out something on my own. I went to a local jeweler, and he said to try and resize it would cost several hundred dollars and it would be obvious where they cut it. The other option was to have a couple of balls soldered inside of it, which sounded uncomfortable, especially for a ring that I would be wearing every day for the rest of my life. So I contacted Marlene, and was soon kicking myself for not going to her first. She was so nice about it and accommodating! I shipped the ring back to her and she was able to have it fixed by the person who has the molds and makes her designs. When I got it back, it fit perfectly! Plus, this ring is so comfortable that I have it on all the time except for when I shower. I can't say the same of the wedding ring set I wore during my first marriage. I'm so glad I went for a beautiful wedding band instead of an engagement ring/band set this time. Thank you so much Marlene! You are a treasure! And I'm sorry I didn't write this review sooner, but at least I can say that 2 1/2 years later I still love my ring and the quality has been excellent!

Marlene has a beautiful collection of jewelry and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I have never encountered a more unique and charming shop. She has gorgeous jewelry for men and women, and we bought my engagement ring as well as my husband's wedding band from her collection.

I visited Marlene's store with my mother to pick out a ring for her retirement.

We made an appointment, and Marlene dedicated the entire hour plus to just Tell my mother her extensive collection of rings and help her make a decision.

Marlene's collection of jewelry is extensive, and surprising given the relatively small size of the store. But even if you are overwhelmed by choice, you won't have too much trouble coming to a decision with assistance of Marlene's expertise.

She has over 50 years in the business and her knowledge and selection are second to none.

I very much enjoyed meeting Marlene as well. Aside from the beautiful jewelry and expertise, Marlene is kind, funny, and I felt right at home from the start.

I will certainly be back, and I'm sure that my mother will be too.

*As an aside, but a very interesting coincidence. After my mother had bought the ring and got at home she noticed that there had been a date engraved on the underside of the ring. The date ended up being her birthday, only a different year. Pretty cool. The ring was white gold with diamonds, so it wasn't like she got her birthstone where a coincidence like this would be more likely.*

Again, I can't recommend enough for anybody who wants to see an incredible selection and have the assistance of an expert.

Got engagement rings here! Absolutely a stellar experience running through antique rings. Marlene has great customer service, prices, and a ton of different styles and options. Really enjoyed!

Marlene is a treat and her darling shop is full of unique and exquisite pieces. She was ever patient with me as I looked over and over her stock before choosing an engagement ring she custom designed. She hands down has the best vintage jewelry in the Pittsburgh area, if not further. If I win the lottery her shop would be my first stop no contest!

Marlene agreed to meet us later in the day to work around our work schedules, which was incredibly sweet of her. She has a massive collection, surely the largest in the greater Pittsburgh area, of antique/vintage rings. She knows what she has incredibly well as well, so she was very helpful with guiding my fiancée (who doesn’t wear rings, and therefore didn’t really know what she’d like) toward something she’d like. My boyfriend had found Marlene's website over a year ago when we had first spoke of engagement. For one year I've been dreaming about having one of those rings on my finger.
Last week he decided that he wanted to go out to the mall to find something by himself (without me instructing him). Of course, anything the man of my dreams wanted to buy to show his eternal love would be fine, but after looking independently, he said "OK, let's go to Marlene's and pick out what you want".
First of all let me say, THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! I have never in my life been so blown away by some jewelry. And, for the price there is no comparison in the Mall jewelry stores.
Not only was the antique style ring unique, affordable, and my EXACT picture of what I wanted, the service was so intimate and special. Marlene truly enjoys the work she does and you can feel it in this little hidden gem.
Not only do I love my ring, I love that it's from such a loving and timeless place.

MY DREAM CAME TRUE

My Fiance and I were struggling to find a band that properly complemented the Edwardian engagement ring that I proposed with. After countless hours at local jewelers and working with designers, we packed up and made the 5 hour drive to Pittsburgh. Marlene and Maria were consummate professionals, they know their inventory and the truly understand customer service. They were patient and honest, offering their opinion and guidance, but allowing us to drive the process and make a decision that works for the ring, and most of all, the bride! I'm so happy we took the plunge and went to see The Marlene Harris Collection, In hind site, I don't know why it took us so long to decide to go!
