The front desk clerk got me squared away with a unit quickly. He was friendly, answered all my questions and went through the lease with me. Easiest and most transparent transaction I have had in ages. 10/10 recommend.

The units were very clean, easy access to the storage unit, great climate control, secure building and we liked that there were dollies available to move our items. Everyone who works at this office is friendly and helpful.

The facility has a convenient location. It is secure, clean and competitively priced. The location manager is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! I am a new customer and have already shared my experience with others that are looking for a storage facility.

The renting of a unit is quick and easy and assistant (not sure of his name) is very nice. I have had no issues at all. I have now rented my 2nd unit and had an issue when I was renting on line, but Shannon fixed my issue and now all is well. Shannon emailed me right away and also confirmed at the end that we were good to go. Both employees are very nice and efficient.

The facility was always clean and well lit. The ability to come and go any time of day and night was very convenient.

I emptied my storage unit last week. The storage facility manager Robert, was outstanding, he helped with my move, and didn't have to. Happy Holidays and Good luck, Robert.

Store Manager, Ms. Shannon Owens, has been wonderful to work with, she is very friendly, informative and knowledgeable about the units that she oversees. Ms. Owens has also assisted me, on more than one occassion, with choosing the best unit size that would best fit my needs. The storage units are nice, clean and come in a variety of sizes to pick from. I also like that the Defender Self Storage in Penn Hills, provides a van, which has made transporating my items so much easier.

This is our second unit and every interaction we’ve had with Xavier has been excellent! He is extremely knowledgeable, presented everything thoroughly and patiently so it was easy to understand. The units are immaculate and the facility is kept in excellent condition. Highly recommend Penn Hills Defender!

Rented online and the process was quick, easy and self explanatory. Access after hours is a huge bonus! Climate control a plus! Clean and everything is easily accessible.

Heather was very professional and friendly and answered all my questions on rates, available units, and more. She also emailed me quotes with the full prices after tax, insurance, and any special discount applied so it was a very transparent process. Once I was there she showed me the units and made sure my code worked and that I fully understood everything. The building itself is very clean and temperature/ climate controlled. I think for the size of my storage area (8x10)with temperature control it was a great deal and it is very secure having an outdoor keypad code to get in and of course a spot for your own lock on the storage unit itself. I’m very satisfied with this company and would definitely recommend them for storage.

SHANNON SHANNON SHANNON.....What can I say about her? She is AMAZING!!! Very professional and funny and she knows her job and does it well. I had to move from one unit into another one within the same building but wasn't sure about the size.....she took one look and without hesitation took me to one that was PERFECT for the items that I had left to store. She is an ASSET. THANK YOU SHANNON FOR BEING AN AWESOME PERSON AND FOR SOLVING MY PROBLEM.

Very clean and it’s also in a great location. I like that it’s enclosed so nothing will get damp.
The woman who assisted us was friendly as well as helpful. The unit I reserved at first was way too small and prior to the paperwork she asked if I would like to see the space? Well I’m glad she did because I needed a bigger unit and it was available! The final reason for the review is the promotional price. Who could beat this price?

I rented at the Penn Hills, PA location from September 2020-April 2021. The entire experience was pleasant. The location is very nice and the units are clean, easily accessible, and affordable. The move in and move out processes were easy and did not involve lots of time or paperwork. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking affordable storage where your belongings can be safely secured!

My family and I came in today to look at a unit as we work on rearranging our home. When we came in, Xavier(Javier? I’m unsure how it was spelled and I apologize!) greeted us promptly. He was in the process of showing another customer a unit so we had to wait a few minutes, but it barely took any time at all. As he showed us the units, he answered all of my mother’s questions and explained everything we had questions about. Once he was done showing us around, quite a few people had shown up. Despite being the only person working today, he remained friendly and answered any question that we had.

I just want to give a major kudos to him because there were at least 4 other people in the building who needed his assistance, as he was the only one, and he still made sure to handle everything with care and promptness.

This was our first storage unit and I’m very thankful for the experience we had. He did an amazing job and the facility is very neat and clean!

I was able to talk to a real person to get infrormation about the types of storage available, and to make a reservation. When I went to the stoage site to complete the rental, the person there was very helpful, making the process easy, and explaining all of the procedures and requirements.
