I just received a comic I ordered wolverine 41. I received the comic very quickly and the packaging was good good it was almost over kill. Great company !

This is the best shop in the Pittsburgh area. Great selection and world class customer service. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Owner and staff are very friendly and take care of their customers.

I live in North Carolina, found this place online with a copy of a comic, I have been searching for and none of my local shops were able to order or have in store. Was so grateful to find and support a local small business in a different state. Got my comic, fast through mail. Was in perfect condition. Would highly recommend. They don’t lie when it comes to secure and safe packaging of mailing comics out to the consumer. Thanks again South Side! Great job!

I love this place. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. I'm not a major comic book guy, but I never feel awkward in the store - staff are welcoming. Great selection of newly released comics, along with some additional merchandise (action figures and similar).

I ordered a book 4 days ago and I just got it today! Fast shipping and the book was securely packed like I would if I were to send out any book!!! The condition of the book is as advertised if not better and the price was great!!!

Welcoming atmosphere and great place to browse through a wide variety of comics. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of all things pertaining to comic books. Talking with the staff rejuvenated my interest in comic books and got me started on a new series to start collecting. Highly recommend this comic book store.

Great shop! The $1 books are alphabetized. Need I say more? Ok, I will. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. They also have very reasonably priced back issues and key books.

I was so excited when this shop opened up on Brownsville rd! My husband and I are constantly at one comic shop or another and the fact that they moved so close to us gives us the chance to visit the shop quite often! The guy that works there is always so nice and helpful and willing to help us find anything we need! My husband picked up a comic for me there today that we've been looking all over for and they've had the widest selection so far for the series I've been working on!

Ordered a single book online. I'm always hesitant when ordering from a different online comic store - you never know how they're going to pack it, or when/if they're actually going to ship it. Well, the folks at SSC processed the order in less than 24 hours, and then shared tracking info the next day. Order arrived a few days later in significant and sturdy cardboard -- the comic was bagged/boarded and in great condition. Awesome experience, and I'm sure I'll shop again.

I have frequented this store often Dan and his staff are always courteous and knowledgable about what I'm looking for. My orders are in on time and I always get notified promptly when my order is ready. They have an excellent selection, and my kids love being able to browse without issue. A most excellent experience every time.

The selection is outstanding.
The store is clean, varied and well organized.
The prices are fair.
And the help is always offered.
Besides, the location is prime because I can sneak in and out while I'm 'at the grocery store'.

Very cool shop. Always friendly and they stock a wide variety of comics and trade paperbacks. They have a great kids section as well. I always find something awesome for me or my kids every time I stop in.

I was a frequent customer a few years back when the shop was located in the actual South Side, and from day one the owner (Andy, I believe) was always kind and ready to talk comics. Even after I moved hours away from Pittsburgh, he was still shipping me various comics and Pops figures. He always has great prices and even better customer service. If I ever move back, this will be the comic shop I frequent once again. Best in Pittsburgh, I say!

Great comic store. I've visited with both my comic guru nephew and with a tween child. Nephew is quite pleased with the selection available and the tweener got some good input from the store staff and fellow customers. We have been to this store many times. Glad to have it in Brentwood!

A wonderfully friendly, stocked, clean, organized, knowledgeable store that never disappoints. My favorite comic book store I've ever been in! Very responsive on social media. The staff is extremely friendly and always welcoming! Great selection of graphic novels, trade paperbacks, back issues, etc... This shop does not disappoint!

If you're looking for a company that actually cares about their customers and their comics, then look no further than South Side Comics!

I discovered South Side Comics when I was looking for somewhere to pre order TMNT The Last Ronin. Since then I've made around 25 orders, most including 3-5 comics. They have now become my go to for any comic including non pre orders.

They package them with bags and boards, wrap those in paper and then package them all in cardboard. They always arrive in perfect condition. You can tell that they care very much about the condition they arrive in.

I've only had to contact them twice and they were timely, polite and extremely helpful in resolving the issue, even when it was my own fault.
1) The first time was because I had ordered 2 comics #3 and #4 in two different orders. They put #4 in the order I should have gotten #3. I let them know and they put #3 in the order I was supposed to get #4. I would have received both anyway so no harm, no foul.
2) The second was my own mistake. I completed my order without changing to Shipping so it was a pick up in store order. As I live near Seattle, Washington, that wasn't going to work. I emailed them at the end of the day not expecting a response until morning. They actually got right back to me that night and cancelled my order so I could reorder with shipping.

I will continue to order my comics from them and I hope one day to visit in person .
