Aunt Cheryl's Cafe

Visiting from out of state, we went for the Rivers Of Steel industry tour then wanted lunch. Got the Chicken and Waffle and some pies. Generous 4 pieces of boneless chicken, lightly breaded and fried, moist and tasty. Waffle was a waffle. Cash only; they could probably get more business if they accepted credit cards. Located in the basement of the the Nyia Page Community Center, which is the old First Presbyterian Church. The double doors have a mural pf Aunt Cheryl painted on them; otherwise there is little signage and you might drive right by the place and not spot it.

Update: the pies were good, had the peach and sweet potato.

Great food , people are not rude. Prices are reasonable. They listen to how u want you're food cooked. And it's cooked with love an soul. They don't make you wait to long for your food. It's a real loving place to go too. They put their heart an soul into you're food.

Man oh man when I tell you I was so excited to try the food and it was AMAZING!! The ladies were also very pleasant and wonderful customer service. I will continue to support this restaurant and also seeing and supporting people from my hometown makes it so much better!! Thank you for the delicious food 😋

Had dinner at Aunt Cheryl’s yesterday evening and it was amazing! The Whiting fish was cooked to perfection and the coating on the fish was divine. The soup was delicious and our food was hot. No one likes lukewarm soup or fish! Last but not least, the service was impeccable! Love Aunt Cheryl’s!!!!!!

Had a steak & cheese hoagie yesterday with a smoothie . Boy was it amazing! The steak was tender and seasoned just right , with fresh lettuce and tomatoes! Just awesome!!! I can’t believe I didn’t know this spot was in town

I have eaten here 4 times, and I always get the soul food special. The food is always delicious! One of my new favorite places for lunch and dinner!

Wonderful food I ordered tenders with Mac and cheese, fries. Everything was delicious 😋. The staff was absolutely awesome.

Great prices especially for the chicken and waffles at $8. Hurry up and try it before someone tells her that she can charge more as it's definitely worth it.

Loved the welcoming, family atmosphere. Food was great! Can't wait to go back and try more.
