Midway Marina & Storage Company definitely has the best marine technician around. You're in great hands. From repowering your inboard, replacing failed parts, routine maintenance on outboards, inboards and I/O's, outdrive services, haul out or launch anything from a 17' bow rider to a 40' cruiser yacht to small and large house boats, winterizing services, winter storage, shrink wrapping, spring recommisioning, boat repairs, seasonal dock slips, plenty parking, bathrooms & shower, sturdy & large docks with power and water available. They don't really have a store that is shoppable, but if you need a part or accessories theres a good chance they may have it in stock. Just ask whoever is working in the office. If its not in stock, they can order it for you to pick up within a couple of days, usually. At the end of the season, they make it very stress free by letting you just drop off your boat with the keys in it, and everything that you requested will be taken care of. Just don't drop it off with a full waste tank, full freshwater tank, and boating accessories laying everywhere. Make sure the engine compartment and water systems are easily accessible. There's no need to lock the cabin door or remove the keys, but if you feel you need to, be sure to tell someone on staff where they can be found. I know you won't be disappointed with giving Midway a chance, especially if you've been disappointed by FCYC services.

Absolutely great people to deal with and a great place! I dealt mostly with Jim and you could not ask for a nicer guy to deal with. Jeff is a really nice guy as well. I live a little far away and my dock is just a block from my house or else I'd be docking with them too. Knowledgeable, straight forward and helpful these guys earned my respect and my recommendation. And when it comes time for any boat maintenance over my abilities they'll be seeing me again.

This marina is a really awesome place. The service and storage is also great too.

Jeff and company did a transom rebuild on our boat. How good of a job did they do? Between my ~new (4yrs) Sunbrella cover, and the new transom job, my bilge pump never picked up ONE DROP OF WATER ALL SEASON. SITTING IN THE RIVER FULL TIME MAY-OCT.

Thank you for putting some devotion into that job. I hope to get 10-20 more years out of that boat. We take it camping really far up the shallows. Its a great little adventure/fishing boat!!!

Great location to get to and nice location on the river. It’s is near I-79’s Neville Island bridge and river-wise it at the northern tip of Neville Island

Has ice on-site, bathrooms w showers, electric, water and you can get a floating dock for entertainment

I’ve been here only two weeks and all the other boaters are friendly and considerate

I bought a boat at the very end of the 2017 season. I found the Marina by chance and talked to Jeff who is very laid back and easy to talk to. I had never used a boat on the river and he gave me a few pointers. He also gave me a very fair deal on a dock and told me that if I decided to get a slip next season he would take that money off next years fee. I think it’s a very nice place and you can tell they are working to make it better. I look forward to the 2018 season. Getting through the lock was new for me and surprisingly easy and quick. Can be downtown in 15 min. Not much wake from other boats passing by and everyone I’ve met at the docks has been very nice.

These guys are fantastic! Most friendly of the family owned marina's around the pgh area. They have great rates for service, storage, and are more knowledgeable than Fox Chapel Yacht club's service dept. I don't slip there in the summer but the pool they are in is a lot of fun. Smallish staff so don't expect same day or sometimes week service for big jobs. (not that you should anywhere for anything)

Midway Marine is a Great Place! I've been there for 10 years and enjoy it immensely. It has a fun environment with great people in which are welcoming and heart warming. When someone has a gathering all are welcome to join creating a family feel. Every year updates are made so deferred maintenance isn't an issue. The service department is exceptional on what they do and won't BS you on repairs or maintenance. The ownership is a family operation which takes a great deal of pride on their business and company. It shows they value boaters and customers by additions and annual functions they fund. If you want a great Marina that's in a fun pool with a wide area to do water sports, 1 lock to PGH (about an hr cruise and great scenery), 1 lock to Beaver River (about an hr 1/2), dock at Sweickley with a 15 min walk to town with restaurants and shopping, and a Beach Bar on the back channel, then you join the Midway Marina Family!

I was just a visitor but I can tell you that the marina seems to be friendly and nice. IF I could afford a boat, I would pick this marina. Nice, owners professional and friendly dockers.
