A wonderful space with lovely art and great people. The class was perfect, fun, low key, easy for a beginner. Very enjoyable!

Contemporary Craft's new home in Lawrenceville is excellent. Open exhibit space, expanded shop, and first floor workshops and studios. They are open for timed ticket visits now. Just like their former home, the gallery is free. New space, but same welcoming and creative atmosphere.

So much fun!! I loved the felting workshop I took last week. I learned a ton. The teacher was engaging and explained techniques beautifully. The participants were a smart, interesting, and friendly crew. I also loved exploring the gallery and shop. Get there ASAP and take advantage of a great Pittsburgh treasure.

Fantastic center for creatives in Pittsburgh. The home of the Fiber Arts International exhibition and offers workshops in creativity, working with wood, metal, ceramics, and fiber to name a few.

What a wonderful space for the budding artist and for lovers of art. There's installations ... And even a shop. The classes are wonderful. I got hooked with my first metals class (jewelry making ) and then there's the laser!!! Omg. And you can rent time to work in the metals , fiber, or wood studio.

The staff is amazing and helpful even with all my questions!!!!

Every city should have a an "art home" like this for people like me to explore and for those who just went to admire the work of artists from a vast array of places. Love love it here.

Beautiful! Staff was fantastic, friendly but not over bearing, welcoming and refreshingly honest. Took at class which I definitely recommend. So lovely! Will be back soon.

So much talent packed in such a small place! Current exhibit very impressive! The retail portion was like going through an art museum. I couldn't afford anything but it was a joy to view the amazing talent exhibited by both local and out of state artists. Gorgeous! Lastly, I was able to push my mom in her wheelchair very easily throughout the center.

Was fortunate enough to catch the Swoon exhibit, this place offers lessons, the staff are SUPER inviting and no one harassed me.

I visited the new location in Lawrenceville, and it is a wonderful, large space. The exhibit was well laid out and the sculptures, especially the large one in the center, were amazing. I enjoyed looking at the handmade pottery and jewelry, too. The pull out jewelry drawers under the display cases quadrupled the inventory. Visiting this gallery is a great way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend it.

Love the new location! Easy parking. Great, thoughtful exhibits. Beautiful gift shop with wide variety of handcrafted items for sale, from local artists and more. We are lucky to have this gem 💎 in Pittsburgh!

This is such a neat place and I'm sorry they got squeezed from their home in the Strip but the new location is beautiful and has so much room. There's a lot of free street parking nearby too, which is a great upgrade. Looking forward to being able to take advantage of classes in the spacious workspaces as well.

Love this place when we can get to it. HATE that it is closed on Sundays in December when we want to shop. We can't get to all the places we want to get to on the weekend and always want to go to the Strip on Sundays instead of Saturdays. You'd think they would have figured out that they are cutting themselves out of a prime selling day by closing on Sundays, especially in December! So we never get any gifts from there for Christmas. Too bad.
This is an update. They unfortunately had to move. The new location is very inconvenient for us so we’ve never been back. It’s a shame they could not have found a space near their old location.

Went there for community craft day. The staff artists were so helpful with the kids crafts. They have a small but interesting collection on display as well!

A great place for kids, families and adults. Staff is super friendly. It's free, but you'll want to leave a tip after your experience. If you're into the arts, this is a great place.

This place is worth your time. Fantastic exhibits featuring local, national, and international craft artists. Wonderfully curated shop full of beautiful hand-crafted items, from jewelry to pottery to artwork. Sweet drop-in studio for hands-on making and exploring. Workshops that will teach you skills you never knew you could acquire so fast, and taught by actual artists.
I could go on, but how about you just go there and trust me on this one.

We visited last spring and I was amazed at the wonderful exhibition. Everything from furniture, fiber, ceramics, etc., all of which could have been in any "fine art" exhibition. The work really pushed the boundaries between "craft" and "fine art".
Another plus was the gift shop. Quite affordable given the quality of the works. I was blown away with the place.
