Richland Cemetery

Richland Cemetary is a really great place to be dead. I can attest to all the graves being closed, folks well buried, and everything really quiet. View n/a. Final real estate gets a 10 from me although 5 is the limit here. P.S. No one there is complaining, which is what you'd expect.👍

It is a well maintained place that I visit when I am in town!

The current state of this cemetery is absolutely appalling. I stopped here while I was in the neighborhood to see my great grandparents and could not believe my eyes. I grew up literally right next to this cemetery and it was NEVER like this. I remember walking through and trying to spot the oldest grave I could. Not anymore! You're lucky you can read any of the graves as most of them are either knocked over or covered in weeds and grass clippings. There are entire sections that haven't had the grass cut in what look like years. It is absolutely pathetic. As a veteran myself, I was disgusted that I had to pick up multiple flags that were obviously run over by tractors or mowers from veterans graves and put them back in the ground.

While I understand that there has been too much rain this year, the grounds are horribly kept. Over grown around several family plits,not just ours.
We were here 2 years ago and cleaned ours as best we could, spoke with the groundskeeper nothing was cleaned after we left.
