Mark's Discount Groceries

I come here for my pantry items. They don't always have what I'm looking for. Sometimes I'll find some new items. You don't know what they'll have till you go there. This is a very small discount store, so it's best to go when they first open up on weekdays. I like that they give out coupons once a month also. More savings, just what I like!

Never know what you'll find, but there's usually something interesting. Great selection of "scratch/dent" canned goods, teas, coffee, etc. The refrigerated section has a good variety of cheeses and dairy products and local eggs. Very helpful, pleasant staff!

Mark's has always had great discounts. Watch your dates. Some items are expired, soon to be expired or still have years to go before expiration.

Everyone complaining about prices being up presumably haven’t noticed the prices of EVERYTHING going up.

However, I can consistently stop at Marks and get the same items for a fraction of the cost of Giant or Walmart. And the produce (while small in selection) is much better at Marks.

You know what this is before walking in the door. As a consumer it is your job to price check items you buy, and check dates on items you’re concerned about. If you can’t or won’t do that, I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

If you have a household that runs through all your groceries weekly this is the place for you. Discount foods always means close to sell by dates and this place is not any different. But they do have a great selection of frozen and dairy as well as dry goods. They also have farm fresh produce, though I wish there were more choices with the produce. I went from spending $300 a week on groceries to $120 a week shopping here. They won't have everything you need or want all the time but it's worth it for the savings. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Also worth mentioning they have split firewood and plants for sale as well.

I have been there twice, the people are so friendly and appreciate their customers, speedy check out. We always find great deals and will continue to shop there.

Mark's is the best place to shop for everything but especially baby items. I have been able to purchase my son's formula there consistently despite the recalls and national shortages. Just check expiration dates before you purchase.

We love going to Mark's. We don't look at the expiration dates we just buy and eat. Even the meats and hey they are always frozen, so no problem. We have never had anything that was bad everything has always been good like before expiration date. Also they are so nice and friendly. Its always a pleasure to shop at Mark's.

An exceedingly courteous staff, fine quality goods, and rock bottom prices make this establishment the only reason to visit New Oxford, Pennsylvania.

The lemon meringue pie from here is the best I ever remember having in my entire 63 years! And their variety & prices are great! They don't have everything, but what they do have is well worth checking out.

Love this place, u may not be able to purchase all your groceries there,however, what u can purchase is at rock bottom prices. Staff are very courteous and pleasant. Wherelse can u buy Turkey hill ice cream for $1.99?????

Mark's is a great place for very great bargains, if you don't mind short date or out-of-date items. Turkey Hill ice cream 6 boxes for $10 cannot be beat, and that is not short or out-of-date! Maybe some of the novelty stuff but not the large boxes

I lived here for 7 years and always passed this place on my way to work. This was the first time I ever been here. I was kinda low on money but needed a few items to get by for the week. This is a great place to shop. I spent $43 and got alot of stuff.

Friendly staff, amazing prices on quality food, even some organic and natural recipes compared to the typical processed stuff. I always check Mark's for a discount before I pay top dollar. LOVE this place!
