The Pie Place

My son wanted a sloth cake for his birthday and The pie Place really came through!!! We didn’t even want to eat it because it looked so good. I’m glad we did because it was delicious! The Pie Place will forever get my orders!

Amazing pies, why did I know about this before? The mini coconut cream is incredible.

This bakery has been my go-to spot for years, and I've still yet to discover another establishment that can rival its quality. My family can't get enough of their brownies or pepperoni rolls!!! (Their cinnamon buns are also to die for) I recommend The Pie Place to anyone and everyone!

Trying to go to fleet feet and it’s closed until eleven. So walking and my mom says why don’t we try the pie place. So we went in. Amazing. The girl (one of the owners) amazing. She was a huge help in letting us know about the salt in the products. I’d give it a ten out of ten but that’s not possible. I tried to give a tip and the girl said no. Yins should try it. Once in awhile though. Not every day thing. Very very sweet.

The pie place is SO amazing- the desserts and the staff! The apple pie and birthday cake truffles are both to die for!

The owners are awesome! I recommend their cookies and fudge brownie, I’ve loved everything I’ve had!

On short notice we needed a raisen pie. They were able to accomodate the request and it was still warm when picked up. It made our boss very happy and it was one of the best he had ever had! Everything is always so good from there.

Best pie in Pittsburgh and - I’ll go ahead and say it - best I have ever had! The cherry was my favorite for years, then I had had fruit of the forest and it is offering strong competition. I wish I could eat these pies every day.

A lovely place with a huge assortment of delicious goodies. I couldn’t decide so I bought several mini pies and some mini cream tarts. So good!! I’m a crust girl and the the crusts are exquisite. The pepperoni rolls were a nice surprise and I’m excited that they serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks. The brownies are so delicious, especially the lemon ones. Never had a lemon brownie and I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely become one of our family’s favorite indulges.

I am a Pittsburgh native living in the DC area but regularly visit family in the 'Burgh. I have tried several items at the Pie Place such as biscotti, assorted bars, pepperoni rolls, and enjoyed everything. My picky niece had a 12th birthday to celebrate, and freshly arrived in town, I inquired about a birthday cake at the Pie Place. Despite a busy schedule for graduation cakes, they were able to accommodate a request for a basic cake of vanilla with sprinkles, and it was ready the following day. I also tried their coffee and granola bars on that day, and both were excellent. Vanilla cake is not usually something I would pick, but it seemed a good choice for my niece. My entire family, including me, LOVED this cake. Hands down the best vanilla cake we've ever had!!! Thank you so much for accommodating my order! Will be stopping by next time I'm in town.

I went to the shop 2 days before Thanksgiving to order an apple strudel and a mixed berry pie. Not surprising they were not taking new orders for Thanksgiving, however they did offer me an alternative.
They had frozen product (take & bake) of both the strudel and mixed berry pie including baking instructions on the boxes. The strudel just had to be thawed, the pie had to be baked. Both
products were excellent as they always are and I learned yet another procrastination lesson but also discovered that procrastination may be a good thing when the Pie Place has your back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our family loves The Pie Place! They do great birthday cakes for our kids, they taste really good but also look great, my kids get so excited to see them each year. And even though it says Pie in the name, we actually also LOVE their pepperoni rolls. If you haven't been here, check them out!

I’ve driven by this place countless times and randomly stopped in last week. Holy wow! Everything is great. I got a few mini tarts / pies for Mother’s Day, some truffle bites for the kids, and a brownie for myself. Outstanding!

I highly recommend you go here if you’re looking for a dessert or a sweet treat!

I have lived in the south hills my entire life and I never knew this was here. Well, I do now… we LOVE Coconut Cream Pie and this was by far the BEST we have ever had. We will most definitely be back , so many other Pies I NEED to try. 5 stars are not enough I give you 10 and you have the cutest little dishwasher ever.❤

Just visited The Pie Place with a small group for the first time today, and would highly recommend it! I had the apple crisp, and an iced vanilla coffee, and also tried a little of the Oreo cheesecake (wow!) and lemon brownie. Everything was super good! The iced coffee was some of the best I have had in a while, and was very reasonably priced. And the baked goods.... let's just say that you open the shop door, and the smell itself is good enough to eat! Very clean, cute shop, and I plan on going back anytime I am in the area!

After doing some shopping my sister and I simply wanted somewhere easy to sit and rest our feet and recharge. We spotted the pie place and it was perfect. No hassles at all. The baked goods looked awesome! My sister got a brownie but didn't want to buy a drink. The lady behind the counter said no problem and directed her to the water that was available. For me the selection was great. I settled for an apple tart which she warmed up and offered whipped cream. The brownie and tart were both delicious and my iced coffee was very good too. Definitely highly recommend the Pie Place! 👍👍👍👍

The Pie Place is the best!! The pies, pastries, and cookies are always delicious and so fresh! This place is a gem, we're lucky to have it in Mt. Lebanon! The Dutch Apple & Banana Cream Pie are our favorites. My mom asks me to bring her Dutch Apple pies every time I visit. :)

I love this place so much. It’s one of the last charming, heartwarming places I can name in this area. The people that work here are so nice too. I think I’ve spoken on the phone to the owner a few times — I order my father a pie here every year for his birthday and one for Father’s Day. We got the Apple strudel for the first time tonight and the apples are still slightly crunchy - it’s absolutely a remarkable feat. We love you please don’t ever close!!

Such a warm and friendly place. When we arrived, there was a cupcake decorating birthday party going on which just added to the friendly atmosphere. It was a Sunday, but even so they had a fantastic selection available. We have sampled their apple pies previously, from Shenots Farm in Wexford, and it is the best we've ever had. I think the secret must be in the crust. Even though this place is well out of our way, will definitely be back again.

Great little bakery in the South Hills area. Great selection of pies, pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts and ice cream. Slices as well as whole pies/cakes are available, and they do custom orders also. Prices are reasonable, and everything in we've tried has been delicious (especially the key lime pie!). They have a few small tables if you want to have a treat there in the store, or you can take it to go.
