I highly recommend this bike shop. I hobbled in unannounced with my bike on a flat tire and was on my way in a matter of minutes for a very reasonable price. In terms of atmosphere, they are a wonderful community institution that clearly values assisting and educating their neighbors. For price, I haven't found anywhere more competitive. I've used them for general maintenance, and they are about half the price of a local competitor for the same service.

Very knowledgeable and friendly! I took in my bike to get looked at after I had an accident three years ago and I just had it sitting in the garage since then. They took care of it at a very affordable price and now it’s better shape than ever!

Kind and knowledgeable people who helped me out with my first flat tire even though they were busy. I'm sure it has been tough keeping up after the damage due to neighbors construction, but glad they are persevering. Great to have in the neighborhood!

Highly recommend! Staff were lovely during my unplanned walk-in and were easy to talk to about buying a bike. Friendly and not intimidating to talk to like some ~bike people~ can be. They explained the difference in some bike styles/characteristics, helped find something suitable for my height and experience, and their prices are good for the quality they're selling (especially compared with some other shops I'd been looking at online). Made a purchase that day, and they added on another tune-up and a rack install. I definitely plan to continue to visit them for service and parts in the future.

I came in with a mysterious brake problem; it was diagnosed as a cable problem, and then he said "do you want to fix it?" "sure!". Told and help we're provided, and it worked!

Rocky could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Did exactly what I needed for my bike without overselling.

We love Rocky!!! Great guy, great shop. We bought our bikes from him and we go to him for any repairs needed. He gets things done quickly and even educate you on how to take care of your bike. We have sent many friends and family members there and we will continue to do so. Go check him out and see it for yourself.

They were super busy and it took a few weeks, with all the craziness in the world right now, it was expected... but they were absolutely amazing. I felt bad because I was leaving the Pitt area and needed my bike done asap. Even if it wasnt done I figured I would just go to pick it up as it was and figure it out later. When I went to get it the customer service I had from Rocky was shocking. He literally put my bike as a top priority that day and had it completed within a few hours. I can not express how Thankful I was! If I am ever in need of bike repair and am in the Pittsburgh area 100% would take it back to them! Thank you so much for your wonderful service!

Talked with a staff member and he was very professional. I dropped my bike off to get a tune up. By just looking it over quickly he could tell what some of my concerns were for it being road safe. Gave me an estimate of what it will cost, barring any issues he may see while he has it in the shop. I felt immediately that this is a bike shop that is customer friendly!☺

Rocky was great!! He went above and beyond to make sure my wife’s bike was perfect for her. This was my first time here, and now will be my go to for anything bike!

I recently purchased my first “Adult Bike,” and I’m pretty clueless despite doing as much reaching (and practicing!) as I can. I stopped by due to some steering issues, and they did a great job! I admit to being slightly nervous as I’m out of my comfort zone, and I’ve always seen people on bikes as a knowledgeable community. But I felt very comfortable and left feeling ready to ride. I’ll definitely be frequenting them for any of my riding needs. 😄

Super friendly and down-to-earth shop owner. Won't confuse you with all technical terms or swindle you into buying fancy parts. And the volunteers there are super amazing (special thanks to Carl!), very experienced and ready to help. I did my first DIY repair there and never imagined it would be fun, and super cheap (at least 60% cheaper than getting everything off of Amazon and do the repair at home).

Rocky, the owner was incredibly helpful and willing to take the extra minute to discuss and teach me in detail. He goes above and beyond while being friendly and honest. He offered to special order in parts for me if I wanted. He also has a great dog that hangs out in the shop.

Kraynick's is more than a bike shop. Its an experience ! Gerry was very friendly and very knowlegable. I needed a lock nut for the crank on my 1952 Schwinn. Sure enough he had it and the price was very reasonable. If you like bikes, you will LOVE this place. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last.

I love this shop! Rocky is an awesome person and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I had a back wheel stolen, went to his shop, and he had me back at it in 15 minutes without breaking the bank. You should go here.

A true gem of the city. The fact that there is a place like this in Pittsburgh is amazing.

Nestled in tight little building off Penn ave there are plenty of bike stands waiting for you to work on your bike and the knowledge of the people who come in and the shop's owner Jerry to help you figure out any tough issues you may have.

Great place to learn about bike repair and/or share what you know. If you haven’t been it’s great experience. Also a great place to buy new and used parts. The open shop allows you to install the parts and avoid the labor cost! Just do it!
