We loved having Alex as our florist for our wedding day! He was very pleasant to work with and creative with the arrangements. I knew nothing about flowers and he was really helpful and patient! You can tell he has many years of experience in the business. What we appreciated most was that Alex was the only florist to work within our budget, and the arrangements were great quality. We got so many compliments from our guests on our florals! Thank you, Alex!

His arrangements go beyond just the artistic flair. I have been sending flowers to my wife from Alex for years, but last week I asked Alex to send flowers for my father's funeral. His arrangement was beyond just art.. it was emotion. When I looked at the arrangement it spoke of sadness yet pride. It spoke of masculinity yet humility. It was my father put into a flower arrangement.
Beyond Alex being an amazing florist he is also a wonderful human. His attention to the customer on a personal level is remarkable. He makes you feel like your family.

I've gotten flowers from Alex's several times throughout the past 6-7 years and they never disappoint -- Every arrangement I've gotten was thoughtfully and carefully created (from the beginning of the process all the way through the delivery). It's always great to support a local small business - I was a customer back when Alex's was in its old, smaller shop and it's awesome to have seen them grow into their beautiful new shop on Shady Avenue. While their location has changed, their service and loyalty to their customers hasn't -- I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is my favorite Florist in Pittsburgh!!!! I called them earlier in May for help delivering flowers to my Mother for Mother's Day. They created a SPECTACULAR arrangement !!!!!

I had a fantastic time with Alex's East End Floral. Alex was so friendly and I remember relaxing for the first time during the whole yearly planning process. He made it so much fun with his personality and humor. I love how he has examples of every flower and arrangement to show you right there on the spot. On my wedding day, my flowers were all prepared on time and were exceptionally gorgeous .The flowers looked gorgeous in wedding photos. He personally went above and beyond. It is easy to write a rave review when everything goes perfectly, but I am writing a rave review on how Alex handled a less than perfect situation. Due to a miscommunication between an employee and my son, we were very unhappy with the flowers that we received. The shop was closed and I could not reach Alex to give him an opportunity to make it right. Therefore, I had to reach out to another florist and have an emergency bouquet made for my son to present to his fiancee. When I reached out to Alex, he was very respectful and was not focused on "who was right", he was focused on "making it right". He verbalized that he felt I would never be a customer again due to how unhappy I was, but I will definitely give him another opportunity because of how he handled the situation. Thank you Alex for your kindness and professionalism.

I am a total convert: timely, friendly, affordable. I needed flowers delivered on Valentine's Day, but made the request the day before. Alex's responded immediately, was great about servicing my request, and delivered flowers in a gorgeous arrangement in a wonderful vase in the middle of the day. I'm done with the big online shops. This is the reason to shop local!

Everyone is extremely kind and accommodating; they can tailor any order to your needs, and they are always able to spruce up orders to make them look special and unique. We heard about Alex’s shop on the radio and decided to meet with him based on some of the other reviews we saw. Alex spent about an hour with us to find out what we were looking for in terms of types of flowers, the look, etc. He did a great job explaining some things and giving us options as we had no real idea of what we wanted when we walked in. We knew nothing about flowers, but Alex obviously helped there!

Alex checked in with us a few weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was set for delivery and what not. There was a small mix up with our delivery, but Alex got it corrected quickly and we had what we needed for our ceremony. His shop is not cheap, but the arrangements looked great and helped tie our look together. We’d definitely recommend him in the future

An outstanding flower shop you couldn't ask for a more personal one-on-one consultation. Alex or one of his staff is very professional! Alex has been in the flower business the most of his life and he knows his flowers and he knows what Arrangements goes with what settings. I deal with them with all my occasions!
