Best kids bookstore ever. Selection is expertly curated, inclusive and covers every seasonal holiday from all cultures and backgrounds, which is great when you're in search of something specific. Owner is so passionate about books, can recommend superbly if you just give her an age or general direction, and the gifts selection is unique high quality and can't be beat. Weekly storytime is creative, themed and typically includes a song dance or activity. Get there early as it fills up quickly. We like going to shop, read and play. There's always a few ongoing activity or craft areas for the kids whenever you visit. I've purchased countless gifts there and they even wrap it for you in unique and beautiful paper! Always a hit. We've taken friends and family there and now they're hooked too. I seriously can't recommend this place enough. It's incredible!

What a wonderful store!
I was in search of books for my grandchildren. With no idea of what they would like, I gave Adrienne their ages and she found the perfect books for them.
She selected nearly a dozen books for me to choose from for them. Happy to say the early Christmas presents were perfect for them. Complementary wrapping, too!
Sparks is the absolute best place to buy children's books!
I will definitely be shopping there again!

This is a fabulous children's bookstore with titles available for all reading levels and a fantastic selection of board games and other activities. This was our first visit and we walked out with a huge array of books. We'll be back!

I absolutely adore this bookstore. It is a hidden gem. Prices are great, wonderful unique children’s books that you can’t find other places. Not to mention the staff are so sweet and generous, I bought my partners daughter 2 dog man books.. 1 of which she already had, so I went back and asked if I could swap it out, told them no biggie if I couldn’t cause I’m sure it’s annoying. They were so sweet and accommodating she did it on spot!! This will always be my stop when I grab coffee. Thank you for the great service!!!

Fantastic gift-buying experience with friendly curating staff. Knowledgeable about many genres, not just for YA and children's books. Especially appreciated the complimentary gift wrap. This is exactly the kind of bookstore that will make it to the 2030's IF WE SUPPORT THEM the way we should. So grateful they're there.

I love this little bookstore and so do my kids. The owner is enthusiastic and has great recommendations. Storytime is fun, free, and interactive. There is a train table and some toys out to keep little hands busy while I browse for the perfect book. This is my go to for kid birthday party gifts too. Awesome addition to the community!!

This is such a cute bookstore. The owner is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very friendly. This is my go-to place for birthday presents, and my kids also really enjoy story time and playing with the toys/doing crafts that are always available. Definitely check it out.

I'll recommend this adorable book store to everyone. The owner is very friendly and has a large knowledge of books! The selection is superb and it is clear that lots of thought has been put into placing every book on every shelf. Sparks Books is organized by theme, so it is easy to find the theme that fits the child you are shopping for. The owner welcomes children with story hour and various stations for children to play throughout he store. A fabulous addition to Pittsburgh!

A great kids bookstore. Books are organized by topic, not author, which makes it easier to find a great new read you may have never heard of. And the owner knows her books - if you need a book on a particular issue, she'll give you 2 or 3 solid recommendations. There are always activities out to keep the kids entertained while you shop as well.

I love the owner and her family. :) Adriene is so much fun and she's the perfect person to help you select the perfect book or the perfect gift for the special kids in your life!

Spark Books is a wonderful, local children's bookshop. In addition to thoughtfully selected books, there are games and crafts. We go to this shop for many of our gifts for friends' birthday parties. The owner does an amazing job!

So thrilled about this new children's book shop in our ever-growing business community! There isn't a better compliment to our district than this book shop! The owner is lovely, and her book selection is wonderful ranging from books you've heard of to ones you haven't... the perfect mix! Love this little shop! I don't live in PA anymore, but still order from them. I recently ordered some children's books and they came in the mail within a few days wrapped in tissue paper with a little handwritten thank you note.
The only suggestion I would make, is that I wish their website would show more of the toys, puzzles, games, etc they have so I could support them further.

The owner is friendly and knowledge, and more than happy to engage her customers. Shopping is limited to one family at a time right now because it's a small store, but that's to ensure everyone's safety.

A beautiful bookstore, filled with shelves of wonder! Everything you need to find the most wonderful books for the new or experienced reader. I loved the variety and thoughtful collection of titles. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We will be back for more!

Ordered books from Texas for my niece's birthday and not only were the prices the same as Amazon but Adriene wrapped them up and delivered them to her so she had something to unwrap on her birthday. Looking forward to the next chance I get to order from here.
