Hands down Top 3-5 pizza spots in Pittsburgh. Shadyside location is as equally great overall. Great pizza selections, gluten free crusts available. I wish there was Build Your Own pizza option. This is A+ quality, if you're tired of "thick crust, get cold quick, made with processed toppings" pizzas on every corner now - this is your spot, the place to be! Our Top Recommendation 100% of times!

We came here for dinner and we were not disappointed. I had the Salisiccia, and it was mouth-watering delicious. There were so many great sounding options here that we had the server wait 15 minutes for us to decide. They also have a nice menu with a lot of options. This very clean and laid-back environment was just what we needed for a nice night out. We will be here again to try many more dishes.

My husband and I attended their pizza making class. What fun! Well worth the cost and the pizza was FANTASTIC. Anna and Joe did a great job educating us on how to make the dough and cook the pizza just right. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is truly looking to make great pizza dough and if not, you must stop in and try the pizza. You will not be disappointed.

I had the Salsiccia E Friarielli. A white pizza. It was wood fire baked. Now this is normally doesn't mean much except a higher chance for your crust to be burnt, however; they did it amazing justice. The crust was the lighter and airiest crust I've ever had. I recommend eating that as soon as you can once it is off the fire.

You'll probably lose roughly 60% of the texture if you take it home in a box so I highly recommend eating at the restaurant for maximum flavor and texture. The pizza was really really good. Though roughly half way through the pizza the crust lost its peak airiness. The pizza was still very good and was still one of the most tender crusts I've ever eaten so it will still be great but not magical.

The gelato selection was fantastic. No complaints. I got a small waffle cone of their dulce de letca and it was very very good. Just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. I would pick this place over a fair amount of ice cream shops.

The wait staff were all very nice even though they were super busy. They worked really well and made sure I was taken care of.

Everything was PERFECT! We actually stumbled upon this restaurant and I’m so glad we did! It’s now our favorite place. We went a second time tonight and everything was just as delicious as the first time. The service is excellent too. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Makes you feel comfortable and relaxed with great service, atmosphere & smiling faces (you don’t see that often in most restaurants)😌. These waitresses are on point and very helpful. Whether it be making suggestions on the menu to being attentive to their customers. I’d like to point out Giana, our waitress this evening. She’s the meaning of a top notch waitress! Thanks for a great evening Giana! We will be back soon 😁♥

We have found our new favorite! Absolutely fantastic pizza. My kids are oddly picky about their pizzas- from the amount of sauce, to the amount of crust on the edges. They loved it. Even my daughter who isn't a big tomato sauce fan thought it was great. We tried a gluten free pie as well, also good but definitely the regular dough is superior. No stomach distress after-effects either! I wish there was an option to add a bit more cheese (maybe there is and we just didn't realize it). Gelato also amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! The pizza is magnificent. Perfectly charred crust, somewhat acidic and ever so slightly sweet crushed tomatoes perfectly balanced by the cheese exactly as it should be. Service is great, everything is delicious, what else could one ask? All of us LOVED it. Will definitely be back and they definitely earn 5 stars.

I am picky about the quality of food that I eat, but I had a fantastic experience here. The neopolitan pizza (margherita) was exactly as I had hoped, and the gelato (hazelnut latte) was outstanding. I enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere, and the service was great. I look forward to going back soon!

First time buying from this restaurant. I've always wanted to try the pizza, but the parking in Shadyside can be difficult to navigate sometimes. I ordered two different "veggie" type pizzas.
I have no words other than to say, I never thought pizza establishment could get my attention over the franchised pizza shops. Mecurio's did. The crust was perfect, not too much cheese, the sauce was rich and the vegatables were just the right amount. They had me at first bite.

The wood fired pizza here is top notch. They have traditional Italian style recipes, no buffalo chicken pizza or weird pies with potatoes. Great service with a friendly staff. It’s a hot oven so food tends to come out pretty quick, too.

We usually go to the Mercurio's on Walnut Street, first time in this location. Love it. They have an expanded menu. Service is great and food is delicious as expected.
Nice ambient inside and definitely larger space than the one on Walnut.
Will be coming back again for sure.

We were thrilled to find this gem of a place. Just back recently from Italy and felt like we were back - aperol spritz, caprese, gelato. Wonderfully presented. Awesome waitress and great atmosphere.

I love mercurio’s and have been going to the shadyside location since 2015. We visited the fox chapel location tonight and everything was amazing. Extra thanks to Linda for hosting us. She was super nice and the service was fast and good.

Very good Napoletan style pizza. Authentic ingredients. And on top of all, good espresso. Will definitely visit next time when I'm in Pittsburgh

All very tasty and such friendly staff! The gelato counter has some vegan options and I saw gluten free options on the full menu. Pizzas come out quick and the crust is soft and delicious! This is amazing thin crust. I've been to both Shadyside and this one in Fox Chapel. The quality is just as amazing at this location and I recommend it! Don't forget the gelato- try the tiramisu flavor!

Ordered two pizzas and buttered noodles for the kids. These are by far the best pizzas in the Fox chapel area! All of the staff was fantastic and the gelato after pizza was equally as great!

Porchetta pizza?! There was no way I was passing up an opportunity to enjoy two favorite foods in one. Sure it was a twenty five minute drive up north on RT 28 (which I smartly planned to avoid rush hour traffic) and it was worth it. While I was making the trek, I also picked up 2 pints of their own gelato which was yet another excellent move. Go. There's another one in Shadyside, so one location or the other is definitely worth the trip.

P.S. My pie just happened to be their gluten free version and I dare anyone to tell the difference. Heavenly.
