We bought an Atlas 5100 mattress and adjustable base from Jerry. It did not take long to receive order. The reassurance that we were buying a quality made USA mattress meant a lot to us. Delivery day was top notch service! Jerry and his helper, Cameron set the entire bed and base up for us and made sure everything was working properly before they left. Our new mattress is so comfy and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a new one!

Bought "old" bed+ furniture from them years ago ('14ish) recently just purchased new,double king adjustable. Jerry has been a huge help,even with attempting to go fully on line. Greatly appreciated Jerry. Sad to see Sleighters go. Been a staple in New Oxford since I was in high school ('99)

I purchased a lift chair from Slaughter's about 6 months ago. Ordered on a Sat it was delivered out of town (no delivery charge) set up tested and old chair removed that same week. I had a small problem with the chair Yesterday the lift had stopped working. By being disabled I could not get under the chair to see what the problem was. I called and left a message my phone call was returned later yesterday evening an Mr. Slaughter (3rd generation owner) was here and fixed the problem today. What a proud 75 year tradition of excellent customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone needing lift chairs, mobility scooters or bedding. 5 Stars is not enough to rater them. There pricing is better than anyone else in the area.

I had several failed attempts from Amazon to find the right control for my UltraComfort (Golden) lift chair. I called Sleighters and was put in touch with Jerry. He researched what I needed and found he had the right control in his stock. His follow-up, knowledge, and timeliness is outstanding! I received the proper control quickly and it worked perfectly. This high quality customer service is rare these days. I highly recommend this organization. Thanks!

Friends recommended Sleighters for their large selection of Golden lift chairs. We purchased one for my husband and one for myself. Both chairs have lived up to our expectations. The staff, both sales and delivery personnel were so very knowledgeable and patient. My husband’s chair malfunctioned on a Saturday morning. He called for service and a professional serviceman arrived a few hours later and repaired his chair on site. Upon inquiry we learned the “repairman” was indeed the owner of the furniture store. We live one a half hours away from the store. It does not get any better than that. Sleighters deserves more than a five star rating.

Very pleased with the service we received from Terri and Jerry when we purchased our 2 mattress sets and a recliner. Everyone was very knowledgeable and very helpful and accommodating. The gentlemen that delivered our furniture were very professional and had everything in the house and set up in no time. We will definitely be back to purchase more.

Great Service!
We purchased a couch from Sleighter's earlier this year. We were impressed by their friendly delivery service at that time.
About 6 months later the reclining part at one end of the couch began to sag a bit. Upon notifying Sleighter's they quickly came out and assessed the issue, ordered a new part for the reclining mechanism, came back out when the part was in and took the affected section of the couch to their shop, replaced the mechanism and changed the cushion pad; and brought the repaired section back the next day.
This was all handled very professionally and with a great customer first attitude.

I ordered a chair to be delivered to the nursing home where my mother lives. The 2 men that delivered it were terrific. They had to take it thru the whole building to get to her room. They helped look for an outlet, (not as easy as you might think) they set it up, and took her old worn out chair away. I highly recommend sleighters! 😊💖

Not one of you skipped a bet when first working with one then switching to another . Even the men helping to load the chair and then delivering the other item . amazing it the work for you all . After buying a lift chair a year ago we ran into a minor issue with a motor misalignment. I called these guys and they sent someone out the next day to fix the chair, even though many places are now closed because of COVID. We bought two chairs from them and will continue too. This is why local business is the way to go! If you are shopping for a lift chair for your parents I would highly recommend them.

I had an issue with a recliner sofa. I called and spoke to Jerry who had me take a picture of the problem, then called me back and talked me through the issue. Now THAT is how customer service should work!!
