Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

If you love Rita's than this is a great place to go. The staff is always so nice and I have never had any troubles with my orders. They just have such yummy Frozen Custard and Ice that you can't pass it up. It is located across from the Jennie Wade House and you can park in the free parking lot across from Rita's next to the Jennie Wade House. Just do not park in the black asphalt because the blacktop is reserved for Hotel Parking. The gray asphalt is fine and free to park in whenever you want. Be aware though on the weekends, especially Saturday, you will most likely be standing in a long line to get this yummy dessert.

Always delicious ice cream here. The staff is friendly and works quickly. Great place to go on a warm, sunny day.

Very good Italian ice and frozen custard for a chain establishment. I've been to Rita's before at the Jersey shore but never got their Misto Shake, which is a custard and Italian ice mix. I recommend the chocolate custard with the wild black cherry Italian ice. YUM! For me, the runner-up was the vanilla custard with the mango Italian ice. I would go to any Rita's again because of the consistency in their product between the different chain stores.

Family loves the Gettysburg location and scenery...Their vanilla custard is awesome and they offer a free small dish of custard to dog with any orders, along with ice taste testing...

Great spot for locals and tourists alike, however note between MDW and Labor Day, the lines will be longgggg. It's the only Rita's I've found within 30 miles now. Great customer service! Please remember to tip.

Love going here. The peach ring gelati was fantastic. The only issue is that its not a bottomless cup. 😆

Best Rita's I have ever visited! My son lost the custard on his gelato, and a kind man came out and took his ice back so he could get more custard for him! Kindest workers there, you shouldn't be disappointed!

Delicious custard. Creamy, flavorful. I haven't had the ice in a while, but it is very popular as well. I had a peanut butter cup concrete once on the advice of the server and it was amazing! The staff is friendly and it is a great shop off for a sweet treat!

I have been avidly visiting this specific Rita’s since its opening during my pre-teens! There has never been a time when I ever had any complaints related to a visit to Rita’s. Their thick, creamy custard and any flavor-packed water ices make a perfect afternoon snack, or after dinner treat! The friendliness of the incredibly kind owner and sweet tempered employees all go beyond pleasant service, especially in today’s society! Visiting this Rita’s is a great treat for your tastebuds and your heart ❤👌🏽🍨

I love this Ritas. The location is a little hard to park at but there ice makes up for it. I park across the street and walk over usually. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. It makes a good snack after a hot day of tromping the battlefield!

Best custard around. Hanover custard tastes like McDs soft serve ice cream but gettysburg ritas is delicious! And they have most of the flavors. A huge variety.

Frozen custard is better than regular icecream, especially when you have kids since it melts a whole lot slower so less mess!
