Petland Village of Eastside

We adopted one of our dogs through PetLand and used their grooming services when we lived in Pittsburgh. We moved out of state, but our dog was recently in Pittsburgh with our son and got into a bunch of burrs. Stephanie not only agreed to help, but she stayed after her shift to see him the same day it happened. Both my son and dog were VERY appreciative of her care and compassion!

Went here after having a bad experience at Monroeville location. Couldn't be happier we went here and came home with a dog. Everyone was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and helpful

Great place. Great service. The people there are very nice and my loves it there. Puppies and birds and fish they have a very very good selections.

Absolutely adore our new Parakeet Tiki so glad to have him with our two other loving Parakeet family:D

I love this store, the staff is very knowledgeable and provide great customer service... they always greet timmy by name when he comes in for his favorite doggie food and treats 😋...we have been loyal customers since 2010
FYI, okay the prices may be a wee bit high but so is everything else such as gas, food, and living expenses.

They have a large variety of pet supplies, everything from treats, leashes and harnesses, to over the counter medicines and sprays. I always enjoy looking at the fish.

Recent one star reviews are due to someone who was fired. Google needs to handle this. The new regional manager, Deana, has over 30 years experience as a successful, and multi-awarded, groomer.

The staff is the sweetest! I had multiple questions, though I was forgetful and was making one of the members run around more than they should have, and they didn't mind helping me!

Caring owners who have established their own non profit pet rescue. Always helpful and kind. Some petlands have a bad reputation but they are individually owned and this one is great! They really do care about animals.

I go here often for my aquarium needs for the last 8-10 years. I also find quality noms for the kitty! Great place for treats and toys and gifts for your furry, scaley, feathery friends! Give them a chance and see for yourself :)

Well stocked, really helpful staff. They helped me pick out the best foods for my new kitten last year, and have recommended other products as she got older. She's in excellent health and a large part of it is the high quality nutrition sure gets, thanks to their recommendations.

I love this Petland. Everyone is helpful and always help me make the best decisions for my dog.
The animals they have for adoption are well cared for, and have my own vet take care of them.
This is an excellent way to let the public have access to puppies etc. who want to visit with the animals, hold them under supervision, and make a decision.
It certainly deserves a 5 star rating.

Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Even on a busy night, we had great interactions with almost every employee and were given plenty of oportunity to ask questions. Their pets seemed happy and healthy and the bird we bought has been a great addition to our home. I only reccomend stores I would return to, and this one of them!

Great place to buy all your animal care needs. Fish department guy Ron knows his stuff. The quality of pet fish is outstanding. Only place left in Pittsburgh where you can trade your fish in if your fish either becomes to big or don't get along with your other fish well.

The workers here are very friendly and helpful. They have a great knowledge of the animals they have and seem to geniunly enjoy them.
I was glad to see that the dogs they have here are from an animal shelter instead of a puppy mill.
If we decide to add to our family. This is where we will come.

I love the fact that they adopt rescues rather than puppies from breeders like some of the other Petlands. You can tell all the workers truly care and love their jobs and the giant tortoise is awesome!

Petland Village is the best!!! The store is well stocked and clean and houses ASAP Rescue. I got my cat from ASAP Rescue two and a half years ago and still get his favorite kibble "Fussy Cat" at Petland Village. He has eaten "Fussy Cat" since he was a baby. The staff and the vet are capable and know about pets through and through. We are lucky to have this store and shelter in the East End.

Bought two baby rats from here and they were already hand-tamed and very sweet by an enthusiastic young lady. Some of the staff really care and are excited about their job. It's an infectious atmosphere that anyone will notice.

I had a wonderful experience at Petland today! The manager is friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help me out. Great selection of supplies, clean store and excellent location. I can’t recommend them enough!

They may not be largest pet store but their staff is top notch! They are very nice and helpful. I found exactly what I needed for my fish. Also love the store mascot!
