Ragged Edge Coffee House

My family and I really enjoyed this shop. It was recommended to us by a family friend. I had a White chocolate mocha with Carmel coffee cake, my son had a banana, strawberry & raspberry smoothie with an Apple coffee cake, my daughter had a Chai latta with blueberry lemon cake & my husband had a bagel with egg, ham & pepper jack cheese and a smoothie. Service was great and everyone is very helpful!

Highly recommend when visiting Gettysburg. My honey truly enjoyed his coffee. My camomile tea arrived at perfect temp ( often not the case with herbals). Yummy blueberry pastry. Friendly staff.

Plenty of tables in this very cool historic home converted to a coffee house/ art gallery. Outdoor porch and backyard seating when weather permits.

We will visit the locally owned Raged Edge next time we are in town.

They have some vegan options, the veggie hummus wrap was good. Also had an iced chia latte which was delicious. The atmosphere is very cute with a beautiful outdoor seating area.

Cute place with a nice and homey vibe. I had the scrambled egg bowl. It was delicious. It was a rainy so the garden wasn't an option but looked like a great place to enjoy coffee and snacks. Would definitely recommend.

Welcoming, artistic coffee shop with healthy eating options and quick service. Inviting indoor and outdoor space including porch and patio. Coffee, smoothies (nice addition) with milk substitutes, breakfast and lunch. Convenient to midtown. Friendly service. 10/10 would recommend and would come again

I stopped by on Remembrance Day 2023, just 15 minutes before closing time (unbeknownst to me.) The only staff present was a kind young woman who was very kind and patient, and the coffee was great. This was the first visit I'm made in 13 years, and I was impressed, just as I had been years before.

I stop here every morning that I’m in town. The food is delicious. The coffee awesome. The service great. Artsy and warm decor. Note that with the exception of Narnia and Hawaii, all the clocks are local times :)

“Think Locally”

We found this on the first morning of our Gettysburg weekend and came right back the next day for breakfast and coffee. Just a short walk from our hotel on the circle in town. The garden in the back is somewhere I could spend my entire day, perfect for sipping coffee and relaxing on a Summer morning before sightseeing.

Our service was very good, we understand that on a busy morning the staff is going to be focused on their jobs, which is the way it should be. The coffee came up in a few minutes and our breakfast was brought to us out back in about 10 minutes (a counter order shop that brings your food out to you speaks volumes about their customer service). Also we planned to split a breakfast sandwich and they cut it in half and brought us two plates without us even asking. I don't know the name of the man that brought our food out but he was very nice, same with the barista. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

RE is a great coffee house, with great food and to-order drinks and coffee. The location is convenient, with street parking that can be a challenge during busier days/weekends. The staff are really nice and helpful!

My wife & I love this cozy coffee shop in downtown Gettysburg. The food is delicious and we love the outside patio & the cozy sitting area with books to enjoy your morning coffee, tea, etc. In fact, we plan on being at the Ragged Edge again this weekend as we’re meeting friends for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I have been wanting to stop here for years while visiting family. Great back patio (dog friendly) and lovely front porch. Plus the coffee and breakfast sandwiches are fantastic! Very caring and friendly staff!

Great coffee and cool atmosphere along with tasty breakfast sandwiches make this a perfect Gettysburg breakfast spot. The employees were busy, polite, and helpful. They found us and brought our food when it was ready. We then ate and enjoyed our excellent coffee while getting ready to start our day.

I'd recommend this for a quick bite or some great coffee, or both! They also have the local time for Narnia in case you need to know that.

It is a good, coffee house/cafe with a neighbourhood feel.
All of the people we interact with behind the counter was lovely.
This was the first tuna wrap (with dill and lemon instead of soaked in mayo) with spinach and tomatoes for a long while. And it was delicious.
They have plenty of outdoor seating.
It was easy to find street parking with the meters, too.

Charming, unique coffee spot! Delicious lattes - I got a dark chocolate, macadamia latte and it was perfect!

Excellent Atmosphere! Loved the Coffee and the choices. Very friendly customer service. The outside garden area was wonderful.

The latte I got here was AMAZING! Loved the vibe of the place too.

Had the ragged edge club and the Colombian coffee. The sandwich was great - very filling! The coffee was very smooth and balanced. The back garden area was the perfect place for a mid morning lunch!

Great local spot. Me and my 18 mo old enjoyed our breakfast. We shared the bacon, egg and cheese bagel, and a fruit and oat parfait. The upstairs was full of toys, so he just went to town while I enjoyed my coffee. Perfect start- for the both of us. ; )

Vegetarian and vegan friendly, with a really nice outdoor patio that allows dogs. May be only place in town that met our criteria. Tasty food and friendly service.
