ACT Gunsmithing came as a Highly recommended gunsmith from a gun store. I have an old girl, 1912 Remington 11 Auto-5, that needed a magazine tube. Hank was upfront with me and told me that because of the gun's age, the gun might be at the end of its life, But he would try everything to keep that from happening. In the end, A new Mag Tube for Auto -5. Hank was very honest, upfront, and a reasonable price on fixing it. I highly recommend ACT Gunsmithing

I came in with a bunch of crazy ideas for multiple firearms that ussualy would have to have been done by 3 different companies. However ACT Gunsmithing is a quality shop! last revolver i took to these guys, they went above and beyond to ensure my s&w was in tip top shape and they even went over it one finale time while i was there to pick it up.
My rifle muzzle break was coated and turned to match the barrel profile with ZERO ISSUES. and Hank was kind enough to fix a slight tilt in my scope mounting.

I took my Ruger SP101 for a polish of the internals and burr removal. Trigger pulls so much smoother now. No need (for me) to replace trigger spring. I'm very happy with Hank's work.

I sent my Savage Model 10 in 308 caliber a great shooting rifle from the box .
Hank installed a muzzle brake for me. He didn’t have my rifle long . The brake fits my barrel perfectly. You can’t feel where barrel changes to brake at the joint.
I took it to the range for the first time today after receiving it back from Hank.
When I started shooting I wasn’t thinking anything about the brake being added. But I was bracing for the recoil and pulled the trigger. Recoil was greatly reduced.
My granddaughter can shoot it now and not worry about a sore shoulder like the last time she went to range with me.
I had good hearing protection on so I didn’t notice much difference in the blast. I will send my 270 to Hank soon to Muzzle brake it also. I’m 64 years old and reduction in recoil is great appreciated.

The guys at ACT solved the issues I was having with magazines not fully seating on my 1911. I tried everything I could think of to make the gun run better, I finally gave up and turned it over to Hank. I should have done much sooner, within a day he had the issue resolved and tweaked a few other minor issues. I've shot a couple USPSA matches so far and zero problems! Great service and very reasonable prices.

Threaded a barrel and installed a brake for a new suppressor. Great guys, solid work. Makes some awesome looking custom rifles. I have to start saving my lunch money for one of those.
