As I left my office on campus today ready for a nice ride home, I felt my back wheel suddenly stop. I got off and sadly had ripped a spoke from the rim and also had at least one crack at another apot on my wheel as well. I loaded my bike onto a 61D and dragged it up to BikeTek. They were very nice and helpful and had a wheel in stock that worked - 30 ish minutes later, my bike was ready for me to ride the rest of my commute home! They helped me last year with a similar last minute issue where I really needed my bike turned around quickly. It’s my primary mode of transportation and I appreciate that they do good work. All in all I super appreciate having their shop close by when I need it!

I am exceptionally pleased with the service at Biketek. I brought in my commuter bike, and they diagnosed a bearing problem that could be a safety issue. Even though the bike was totaled, they offered me a trade in at a very good value for a gently used bike. My new bike runs great and has a new chain, cassette, crank and brakes. Highly recommend stopping by if you value good service!

Great shop...just picked up a Jamis Renegade C2 about 2 weeks ago, BikeTek was only shop I could find with my frame size, or for that matter a C2 in stock! Called ahead since I am several hours from Pittsburgh and staff (Cory) were super helpful, answered all my questions and held the bike for a few days until I could get out there for a test ride. Awesome experience...and I LOVE the Renegade.

Stupendous service. My E bike was very damaged due to weathering, and after the work done by the mechanics, it was running smoothly again. I purchased a new bike lock, and without my asking, the employee at the counter gave me plenty of useful information about the lock and assured me of its safety. The shop altogether looks great, i will be returning.

I get my bikes serviced at Biketech. I recently had issues with one of the bikes that was under warrantee by the company. The company didn't want to honor their warrantee, Frank contacted the company and got them to honor the warrantee. I highly recommend Biketech.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my Aventon Pace 500 from BikeTek in Squirrel Hill. Even though they were experiencing some shortages at the time, the buying process was smooth and very positive. One of the highlights of choosing BikeTek was the complimentary tune-ups they offer, which have been absolutely fantastic. The staff is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about ensuring you get the most from your biking experience. In store prices were about the same as what I'd have paid online, which is great too - especially if you're feeling impatient about getting your hands on an ebike.

A friend of mine also bought an Aventon Level from the same store and had an equally great experience. The friendly service really made a difference, confirming that BikeTek is not only a great place to buy an e-bike but also a reliable resource for ongoing maintenance and support. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new bike.

Employees were very helpful and super nice to us. Chris and Eric helped us and explained everything about our bikes. Eric was very helpful with loading them and helping with our new bike rack! Frank worked with us on getting what we wanted and making sure our needs were meant! We appreciate it!

Bike, don't walk to this store. Came in to test drive an Aventon, and ended up buying two. They were very patient with me while I hemmed and hawed over what models and why. Frank gave great advice, and Corey helped wrap things up and bring them to my truck. My Aventon Pace 350 and Soltera are *amazing* to ride, a must in this city. Thanks guys!

Best buying experience I ever had. The staff could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. I almost made the mistake of buying the wrong bike online. This is hands-down my favorite bike shop in Pittsburgh because it's the most trustworthy, most reliable, and has the highest-quality products. I've bought 3 bikes from here over the years, and it's my go-to place for gear, repairs, and tune ups. They have the best, most attentive, most expert techs. Service is always impeccable and perfect. I highly recommend everyone go here for their bike needs -- you will definitely get good products, good advice, and good service. The owner and techs are wonderful, patient, helpful people who always make you feel welcome.

Great place! Great staff. I can only speak for purchasing bikes here but I bought 2 E-bikes and both work great. I was ready to buy but the owner insisted I test ride before I bought. He seemed to care more about me being happy with the bikes than making a quick sale. Also I did have to wait about 5 days for my bike to get built but it was a holiday weekend and they were very busy with maintenance. Other than the short wait great experience

I bought 2 E-bikes for my wife and I. At first I was only going to buy 1, but what fun would that be.
Everything was explained to us in detail about the bikes workings. I also bought some accessories and the service department is top notch. If you want an E-bike, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it.

On several occasions, I got my bike repaired by an employee called Robert: I would like to highlight not just his kindness and his commitment to a really efficient and impeccable job, but also his dedicated professional advice and shared expertise to help me keep my bike in the best possible condition. Have been using BikeTek for years for maintenance— their mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable, do good work, and are efficient.

They are popular so do get backlogged in the spring/summer, but that is the norm for good bike shops in town. Whenever I’ve had January repairs they can turn it around in a few hours.

Best bike techs, best service in the city. I ordered a bike online and had it sent to them for assembly. I had a problem with the bottom bracket. It made noise and vibrated when riding. They listened to me. Took the time to figure out exactly what was wrong. Removed the less than stellar component. Upgraded it for free. And the bike is as smooth as imaginable. They are super busy most days but keep things as personal as can be. Nice job guys please try to keep it up.
