LaScola's Italian Ice & Custard

I love this custard shop, they have a few signature flavors and rotate through a few others. I really appreciate that they have Italian ice as well! They also serve coffee and refreshers which I appreciate. Love this place!!!

Excellent, excellent, excellent - this is the best ice cream/custard in Pittsburgh. The hours are a little tricky but absolutely worth it any chance you get. Flavors are always delicious and the texture is phenomenal. And the italian ice is wonderful as well!

🟥 This was my first Time to LaScola’s Italian ice and custard, and I must say I absolutely love it. I got the cherry ice and my fiancé had the custard. Both were excellent. I thought the cherry ice was very flavorful and not too chunky. It was just right. I can’t wait to come back to get a coffee or a bubble tea. They also have a lot of breakfast options like danish and bagels. The neighborhood was very quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely consider coming here to get an Italian ice or custard.

What a gem. The staff here are so sweet and the custard is amazing. I always go for the iceberg where you can get custard AND Italian ice. Incredible

I adore this place. I've never ordered anything but the ice burg... but it's so delicious I can never pass it up. It's so creamy but also refreshing with the ice! My one and ONLY complaint is I want them to have longer hours. I know they're family run though so I understand.

Passing by LaScola's and saw Red Velvet on the menu and just had to stop! Got a waffle cone and also a pint to take home! If I had a bigger freezer I would have bought a whole barrel, so thanks for offering the option!

Us folks in Highland Park are lucky to have LaScola's in our neighborhood. My daughter and I made our goal this summer to try everything on their menu! My only complaint: longer hours: we need more LaScola's, not less!

Love this place! Come here often and always a great pick of custard flavors. Love the lemon olive oil and just has the Snickers. Everyone here is so nice and attentive.

Amazing, unique range of flavored custards. The lemon olive oil and Vietnamese coffee are off the charts amazing! Service is friendly and knowledgeable.

The custard is delectable & creamy made from scratch, melts in your mouth. My fave is lemon olive oil. 😋 Don't hesitate. Go now! You won't regret it! Friendly service & and they leave a water bowl outside for dogs. 🙂

Been wanting to stop here for years and finally made it! Got two scoops of custard and it was extremely smooth and delicious. A little pricier than traditional ice cream, but happy to support a small local business. Looking forward to coming back to try their coffee selection.

Best custard I’ve ever had!! They have a few classic flavors and rotate so many other flavors. I moved a street away and it’s hard not to go there every single day. The Italian ice is delicious too. This is the first place I take visiting friends and family and they always agree that it is amazingly delicious! My mother in law even snuck out in the morning for a mango ice with vanilla custard for breakfast.

Wow! What a special little place nestled amongst the homes in this adorable neighborhood. The Italian ice was beautiful and refreshing. The espresso was out of this world! I had an affogato...custard with espresso on top. What a treat! Our new favorite dessert spot for sure!

I'm really happy to have custard and coffee in such a walkable neighborhood. The custard is pretty good to boot, and they said they're getting bubble tea soon. A rotating selection of interesting custard flavors (cheddar cheese, or lemon and olive oil, for example). The employees have always been friendly. I do wish there was a bit more seating on the sidewalk, but that's probably a city limitation.

We LOVE LaScola's! Not only is their custard amazing (we've tried at least a dozen flavors now and none of them disappointed) but their coffee game is really excellent. They have a great selection of seasonal flavors.

The BEST latte flavors with lots of healthy milk alternatives! They also serve great ice cream and sweet treats. They have street parking, plenty of tables to sit down outside of the order window, and take credit cards. It is a very small shop with walk up window service in a very quaint area!

First time here. Came because I was craving some Italian ice. Asked to try the mango (which was very good), but then out of curiosity, I asked to try the snickerdoodle custard and wow was it amazing. So I ended up getting a scoop of each separately. Will definitely be back to try more of their flavors.
Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean inside as well.

Had to visit here at least once a week ever since I found it! Everything was so good, especially their homemade custard!! Tried so many flavors and never was I disappointed! Coffee is also excellent. Staff are all super friendly . Awesome place
