Tom is probably the nicest Comic shop owner you'll ever meet. I had a hard time finding a shop that was both welcoming and staffed by knowledgeable folks when I moved to Pittsburgh, but this shop is both. He always has what I need, tons of back issues, and a great environment to hang around and talk comics. I can't recommend this store enough!

My daughter has developed a love for reading/writing/drawing comics and has been dying to visit the store. She was not disappointed. There is a wide variety of classic collectable comics and new comics alike. The owner was very friendly. We will be back!

There is no other place like this in the region. Duncan Comics is a true American mom & pop place with something for everyone who reads or is a pop culture fan. Thousands upon thousands of comics, used paperbacks in half a dozen genres, toys, action figures and surprises around every turn. The owner is encyclopedic in his knowledge of comics and science fiction! I have never, in over 25 years of shopping there been treated less than courteously. Duncan's is a gem that makes this city a better place. Go there! Now!

I always enjoy coming to Duncan. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful. They have a huge variety of books as well as some other collectible stuff. Definitely worth your time!

Stopped in for the first time last week. Best selection of silver age I've seen in Pittsburgh. Picked up a lot of great spidermans. Friendly staff, be sure to check them out

You can spend HOURS here. Great selection of back issues, art books, mainstream and indie titles. Long boxes for days. The owner really cares about his customers and their pull-lists. Nice cards and games. Open late. And YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!

I've been going to Tom's for almost 13 years now. Hands down the best comic shop around. I bought my first comic here and Tom was always willing to talk about what I was reading. I've lived in multiple places around the country and nothing has ever come close to Tom's.

AMAZING! You look at how everyone rates this place 5 stars, enough said. But Tom is the best. I remember his place down by DQ in Perrysville, but love the new place. Glad to see he's doing well. Loyal customer for 25 years. Thank you Tom, for wonderful memories.

Excellent comic store, the only one I know that holds a copy of the walking dead for me every month. Friendly and knowledgeable, they really go out of their way to help. I drive past other comic store to go there

my time at thr comic book store was spectacular Tom was a nice guy all around helped me find exactly what i was looking for and it had everything imagionable star wrs the hobbit little action figures comic books and so much amazing stuff i bought 6 items and only paid $20.00

It has comics, novels, and 3even manga from either the past or the present. It's got really good customer service as well, and the variety is excellent enough to possibly satisfy all kinds of fans.

Duncan Comics is probably the best comic store in the entire Pittsburgh area I've gone to multiple stores and none have been as helpful as Tom and his father I got in the comics about a year ago and anytime I've ever needed anything Tom got it for me he is a very large store in West View I highly recommend checking his place out

The location is beautifully laid out and the owner is a kind and helpful man. If you have sci-fi, fantasy, or comic needs, they will be met here. From the mainstream all the way to the INTENSELY obscure.

So sad they closed down. Tom and his father were always friendly and accommodating. Going to miss this spot dearly.
