Ka-Fair is located pretty close to the zoo, and hence I stopped here on the way. it is within a residential area by house and hence it is much quieter than some of the other coffee shops located in busy streets. The coffee shop itself is narrow and long with a bench and some high chairs facing the street. The seating is varied with different options suited for both individuals and groups. The decor is eclectic with lot of different pieces, and I couldn’t really identify a theme as such. The selection is very large, and I believe they are known for their dirty chai. I opted for the dirty Macha instead, which was pretty good. They also have some baked goods, and I got the layered crêpe cake, which was very good. The barista was really sweet and welcoming. My favourite thing about the cafe was how peaceful and quiet it was, and how bright it was with light pouring from the front.

A hidden gem in Morningside!! The owner is a really sweet woman who puts her whole heart into the delicious food and drinks that she makes. Ka-fair is a full service coffee shop with tasty lattes, matcha, smoothies, pastries and breakfast foods. Try the egg toast and the seasonal strawberry matcha when you’re here!

Maybe Pittsburgh's best kept secret coffee and tea house (and treat haven)? I haven't yet had a cup of coffee that wasn't amazing, and I'm pretty simple in my tastes - coffee/espresso. I've been assured that the bubble tees are phenomenal as well as all of the Thai tea and coffee options. Also, definitely go here for the cakes! The homemade crepe cake is not too sweet and so beautiful you may not want to eat it. I love all of the seasonal options, and the owner is a delight! They also carry a selection of local baked goods, chocolates and artisan products to buy. If you haven't been, you are missing out!

I have passed this place many times and finally tried it. I had latte. It was warm sunny day so we went outside. liked the outside patio. Latte itself is good. Price and size are reasonable for area. It seems nice to have some work or study done there.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ka-Fair Coffee and Cakery, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I ordered an espresso over ice, and it was the perfect pick-me-up on a warm day. The flavor was bold and rich, and the ice added just the right amount of refreshing coolness. My partner ordered the Thai ice tea, and they raved about how delicious and perfectly balanced it was.

As for the food, we couldn't have been happier with our choices. The quiche with bacon was absolutely amazing. The crust was flaky and buttery, and the filling was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of bacon. The Ka-Fair Toast with ham was equally delicious. The bread was fresh and toasted to perfection, and the ham was thinly sliced and flavorful.

Overall, I would highly recommend Ka-Fair Coffee and Cakery to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot to enjoy a delicious coffee or tea and a bite to eat. The quality of the food and drinks, combined with the friendly service and inviting atmosphere, make for a truly delightful experience.

One of my favorite coffee shops here in Pittsburgh! I’m always looking for something new and when I first came her last year, I was not disappointed! You will definitely eat and drink something here, that you’ve never had before! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and calm!

This is honestly one of my favorite places to go for my morning coffee and little treat before work. They staff are so kind, the food is delicious, and their iced lattes are always good.

The environment there is super relaxed, and I love talking to the regulars that go (and petting their dogs as well).

Absolutely would recommend this place to everyone.

This was by far one of my favorite new finds in Pittsburgh.

The selection was variant, which is nice. They have something for everyone.

And the lattes were very taste. I had a dirty chai latte and it was something Ive never had before. The owner suggested and it's obvious she knows her products.

Speaking of the owner, Amy* was the co-primary reason, the other being the product, I returned so quickly. She was so nice and friendly. And the rest of the staff seemed to be just the same. I left very happy.

The cafe itself is very quaint and comfortable. It's definitely a place you can come, relax, have a nice conversation with a friend or do some work if needed.

I also recommend the croissant as a nice breakfast treat. Google reviews recommended it as well and I saw why. Very full, flaky and flavorful.

Suffice to say, I stopped here a few times during my stay and will most likely be a frequent shopper when in town for years to come.

*Note: I'm terrible with names so if it was not Amy, my sincere apologies. I'm pretty confident it was and due to how personable you were, I didn't want to write a review referring to you as just the owner.

Skip the chain coffee shop and stop by this spot. A very eclectic location tucked into an otherwise residential area. I enjoyed a cold brew, with an emphasis on enjoyed. The beverage was smooth and flavorful. Will stop by next time I’m in town, for sure!

Love this find! My group had iced caramel macchiatos, and a caramel vanilla iced latte- yum! The bagels and croissants were also excellent.

Great little neighborhood café in the heart of the charming Morningside neighborhood. Great coffee and food selection; the crumpet and fruit plate was excellent. Pleasant staff and a great place to go before heading to the Pittsburgh Zoo!

Grand little coffee shop tucked back in the cozy neighborhood of Morningside. Baristas are fun and friendly, pastries are delicious and the espresso perfect. Went back a second time to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Was happy to find out everything was great once again!!

Stopped in on a short vacation when I desperately needed caffeine and so glad we did. Ordered a mocha and a hazelnut latte, both were delicious. The seating area is cute and comfy. Definitely worth the stop!

Gorgeous interior, friendly workers, great drinks. This is a beautiful space to grab a drink and pastry- I had a mango bubble tea and chocolate croissant while my husband has a hazelnut latte and everything was fantastic. Don’t miss this hidden gem!

If I was on death row, the ka-fair toast with poached eggs would be my choice of final meal. It’s SO SO GOOD. It never misses. My go to drink is the caramel latte :) I love this place!

I couldn't have been more impressed with Ka- Fair. I am simp for a cute coffee shop but this one takes the cake- the Ka- Fair crepe cake with a raspberry reduction sauce to be exact. Delicious perfection. I also had the pleasure of enjoying a variety of other unique sweet treats. One example would be the gluten free honey corn cake. A must try for sure. Not only are the treats enough to keep me coming back but the coffee, oh, the coffee! As my boyfriend put it, "The best coffee I've had in Pittsburgh." and I wholeheartedly agree. The "Freshspresso" made with fresh squeezed orange juice and espresso was truly one of the most unique, aesthetically pleasing, and delicious beverages I've had. The warm, gentle sweetness of the owner can be felt in every inch, every sip, and every bite. Pittsburgh should feel lucky to be home to such a gem. I know I do.
