Colorado Taekwondo Institute

The golden campus is one of the best campuses with some of the most fun instructors. Every month, this campus holds a lock-in, where the students do a class, then eat pizza and play games, and then finally have a sleep over at the campus. Having attended these lock-ins, I can say that they're super fun for all ages. The kids love them and the teens love them too. If your student goes to Golden Taekwondo and has the chance to do a lock-in, they should, no matter how old they are.

CTI is an incredible organization for all ages. The Taekwondo here truly benefits the body and the mental health, and has lasting affects on those who practice it. Its values are respectable and beneficial, and the discipline the students develop while practicing this martial art is rarely matched by other martial arts. The instructors are patient and kind to all students, and the environment is extremely supportive. I'm extremely grateful to have found this program, as it is truly a diamond in the rough. Students learn real skills that they will be able to use in dangerous situations, and students also develop strong and firm discipline and self control. If you're looking for a martial arts school that truly has lasting impacts and benefits, CTI is absolutely the place you're looking for.

I originally started with the Colorado Taekwondo institute back in 1990, at the age of 11 years old. And I made many great memories and met some life long friends. Unfortunately, I ended up moving away back in 1994. However, thanks to modern technology, I’m now able to continue my taekwondo journey, 30 years later. Since I’ve been back, I’ve received the same top notch and quality training in my own home in Cheyenne Wyoming. Both of my instructors, are absolutely incredible and have always gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me with my Journey. And though I have some different challenges due to being a distance learning student with this school, I still get the best training possible.

My 7-year old has been going here for nearly a year. Great instructors: supportive and fun; good plan for teaching; knowledgeable. Focuses on ‘whole child’ in terms of teaching responsibility, respect, kindness, and focus as well as taekwondo fundamentals.

We have been a part of CTI Golden for a year and it has been a very positive experience for our boys. They have learned many admirable characteristics, which they practice in the studio, and also outside of the studio. The teachers are amazing and do so well with the kids. We couldn’t be happier about this commitment we’ve made to Taekwondo and joining this specific class.

The Golden campus is such a great place for learning and developing a deeper understanding of Taekwondo. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and excellent sources of support for their students who truly excel in the Golden campus environment.

I have been with the Colorado Taekwondo Institute for 1 year, and I can attest that this place is like a second home. The instructors here believe that every student has great potential to be the best that they can be, and to cultivate that potential, they see to it that every student is disciplined and tested beyond their limits. My instructors never hesitate to correct mistakes I have with the footing in my stances, the form of my punches and kicks, and the technique of which I use to break a board. What’s great most all is that every type of person is welcome to join anytime, whether they are older, younger, disabled in any way, or need a sense of guidance.

I absolutely love my experience with the Colorado Taekwondo Institute. Since I joined, I have experienced so many positive health benefits. Being an adult, I love being in class with other adults and having other adults with the same experience and level. I have gotten better flexibility and overall fitness. I love getting a full body workout without any extra equipment. The class are fun and every instructor is highly trained and experienced. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try.

The Colorado Taekwondo Institute is a phenomenal school and is a great fit for all ages. This location provides classes for toddlers, children, teenagers, and adults and has a great set of instructors. I highly recommend this taekwondo school to anyone interested in physical fitness and learning martial arts.

Our experience with CTI has been spectacular! Not only has my son become very physically fit, he has better focus, is more respectful and absolutely loves Takewondo! His tutor has mentioned how much better he is doing with school work since starting with CTI. He is also better able to deal with challenging situations when they come up as his emotional regulation has greatly improved. This program has been wonderful !

My son has been a student at CTI-Golden for the last 9 months and it has been a wonderful experience! He loves going to class twice a week and really enjoys class with his teachers and classmates. He is learning a lot and his confidence has really grown as he's been successful in classes and tournaments. The teachers are super engaging and clearly love what they do. We couldn't be happier with our experience at CTI or recommend it more highly!

I've been practicing with the Colorado Taekwondo Institute for over 10 years now, starting with the Littleton Campus and then recently moving to the Golden Campus. As a middle school teacher, I respect the instructors at Golden. They are very professional and go out of their way to make all of their students feel welcome in class, regardless of their age or ability. I have also copied their instructional style in my own classes as well, trying to balance a level of positivity and respect that has helped my own students grow and improve their own academic skills as well. As a middle aged student, I also like how the instructors work with my limitations and abilities, while still pushing me to be even more successful, so I can overcome them and improve my overall physical and mental health too. I credit this program with improving my own overall mental and physical health over the years, and I appreciate how they also spend equal amounts of time both exercising and also encouraging their students to be positive leaders with their friends, families, and community. I highly recommend this program for either anyone who is interested in trying out martial arts for the first time or for someone who has practiced before and would like to get back into a program again. Besides regular classes, they also offer four tournaments a year, training expos, summer camps, and even lock in parties and an annual end-of-summer picnic hosted by the Black Belt Band.

I bought a gift certificate at a fundraising auction and thought I would try this just for fun. I never thought I would keep doing it. However, I found out it is a great workout (body, mind and spirit), it's fun, and I can really challenge myself. This is a very welcoming place with something for everyone. The instructors and other students are friendly, kind, helpful and I always feels supported. As an older adult (60), I felt a little weird at first, but now I am embracing the depth and value of this activity.

I have been with this program for a large majority of my life and I can’t speak highly enough about the Colorado taekwondo institute. This organization has helped me thought my life by helping me learn self discipline, integrity, and perseverance from a young age. This program is full of extraordinary black belts, instructors, and students, and is a great way for people of any age to get in shape in a fun and encouraging environment. If you are interested in learning martial arts, definitely check this school out at any of their many locations!

The Colorado Taekwondo Institute Golden Campus is a wonderful program with a great community that is welcoming to everyone. The program promotes self-confidence, self-control and leadership while physically training the body in martial arts. The instructors are engaging, encouraging and approachable for all students and provide a safe, clean and healthy environment to train in.

We love CTI! Colorado Taekwondo Institute is a great place for a family to get in shape while learning self control and self defense. It gave our family the opportunity to work out together while earning our blackbelts. The instructors were great role models and a positive influence in my children's lives.
