Hanover Railside Family Diner

We have been in here twice now. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. And let me tell you, if you enjoy diner food, this is the place to be!!
Their breakfast was very satisfying. Good portions.
Lunch was amazing!! So many fresh homemade items on the menu. Today we had their macaroni salad and red skin potato salad, very creamy and delicious 😋 And oh let's not forget their homemade chili!! Homemade there at the diner.
Hog maw!! If you're country, yall know this dish. Also made in house. You don't find this at many places. Very tasty, and my husband enjoyed it.
When it's not super busy, it's a calm atmosphere, but when they're busy, it's loud lol Not that it's a bad thing, just warning you! 😁
And the servers are so nice!!
So if you get the chance stop in and enjoy one of their delicious meals. You won't regret it.
**Two weeks later we went back for their Fried flounder, macaroni and cheese and stewed tomatoes.

Services quick atmosphere clean depending time of day sometimes a little bit of a w a i t. Waitresses are all friendly staff is friendly food used to be a number five star. Some things changed and gave it a three the last few times I've been there quality of food has changed.

I had heard so much about this place so I finally went to see for myself. I totally enjoyed it. Food was good. My friend had a fish sandwich that she absolutely loved! Will be coming back.

It was a quaint quiet place, very clean, and smelled of fresh food Cooking! Our waitress was lovable and eager to please! The ham steak that was brought out for my dinner, really 2ould have fed a family of 4 or More! Got our drinks filled, ice tea and Coke, almost before we even asked...

I go for the Jill's Salad almost every week. Very fresh, homemade salad dressing and definitely an entry size. Sometimes if I am really hungry I will not order dessert but a 2nd salad to eat in or take out!

Driving through town, hungry and found this place. I got the beef & rice soup. It was delicious and definitely homemade!! I got the double cheeseburger and my husband got the cheesesteak hoagie, both filling and delicious! The server was Amazing and attentive and the food was amazing!

If you want great food and service at an affordable price, this is your place!!

Hometown restaurant with a diverse menu and great service. We both got the hot roast beef sandwich which was great.

Food was quick hot and delicious. Portions were just right not too little nor too much.

Waitress was great, especially considering the number of tables she had.

Stopped by just for ice cream and ended up getting a sandwich, coleslaw, and soup beforehand because the menu looked so tasty. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. The sundae was absolutely MASSIVE. Totally worth stopping in and will be back when we’re in the area.

My wife and I loved it!! The staff is very friendly. The coffee is very good. The pancakes are the best around! They are thick and fluffy and are a meal in itself! That's why I consider the hash browns, two eggs, bacon, and toast my side order!!

The Taco Salad and Homemade Chili were awesome along with the service and friendliness of all working there. It's a great place to eat looking for Homemade food Good 👍

This place is hands down Hanovers best restaurant anytime im in Hanover I gotta come get my Jill salad the staff has never disappointed me and they treat u like family

I avoided this place a few times because the parking lot was full. Assumed it'd be packed a didn't feel like waiting. Well I was very wrong.

I decided to finally go! It wasn't packed, got seated right away. Waitress was nice. I normally go for American food, so I ordered a double cheese burger. This thing was very good especially for the price. On a potato roll.

I was here once before but was only interested in ice cream. So there's also that.

Great place for comfort food. Best salads in town. Small town prices!

We have church here on Sunday mornings. The owners are absolutely wonderful and kind.

I love this place. Railside is the best family restaurant in the Hanover pa area. I live out of state now & I so look forward to coming back to eat here. I love the staff the food and the service.

They have really good breakfast. Nice friendly servers & staff, great atmosphere. It's a shame they can't open for the weekend. I miss going in Saturday morning with my friends. But if you can make it in through the week, you won't be disappointed.

First time here. Nice comfortable,homey restaurant. Food was really good. Great service. Would go again when in that area.
