Cafe Jordano

This was my first time at Cafe Jordano. I visited on a Friday night, so there was a 30-minute wait. The wait went by quickly. Once seated, our server attended to us right away. Our service was quick and attentive, and the food arrived with very little wait. The food was excellent with good-sized portions. I will definitely eat here again.

Location: Nestled in the heart of Lakewood. Lots of free parking at this strip mall.

Food: Jordano offers an authentic Italian dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the soul. Let's start with the sauces – the heart and soul of any Italian meal. The red sauce, rich with the perfect balance of tomatoes and herbs, (not too acidic) transported me to the cobblestone streets of Rome with each savory bite. Equally impressive was the white sauce, creamy and heavy (in a good way), with a hint of garlic that danced on the palate. The sauces were KING and elevated each dish.

Eggplant was lightly breaded and sliced very thin. Served with a side of spaghetti. REALLY appreciate the vegetarian selection and that they marked it on the menu so it was easy to find.

Lobster ravioli was a delight. Not too “fishy” and a good sized portion.

Bonus- each meal had the choice of a small soup or salad + breadsticks. It’s thoughtful freebies/ inclusions like this that help elevate the meal.

Service: attentive and friendly- although I think she could have known more about the menu and mixed drinks (she said she hadn’t tried many of the things we asked about).

Tonight's visit was our first time and it was absolutely amazing! This is such a hidden gem that we will come back again and again and again... The food was the most delicious Italian food that my wife and I have ever had but it didn't stop there. The service was top notch as well. They really know how to make you feel like family at the moment you walk in the door. Our server, Paul, was so efficient and kind. Even Elisa, the owner, took the time to show us what true hospitality looks like. So grateful to have experienced this, one of many to come, special evening at Cafe Jordano.

The most amazing authentic Italian cuisine! My family can never get enough. Great family owned business. Always fantastic service. Personally greeted and bright to our table by the owner every time. Absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back again!

We stopped in for dinner while visiting a friend in Lakewood. We had a variety of meals, Lasagna, Ravioli and Spainch special. Both meals came with a side. We got a soup and salad and all of our meals were delicious and cooked to perfection.

They are located in stripped mall, however the inside is nicely decorated and the place was crowded on Thursday evening. The staff was very friendly and very attentive.

Overall we had an excellent dining experience. We will be back on our next visit to the area.

After coming here many times and realizing it's one of our favorite Italian restaurants I must leave a review. Anything in a cream sauce is super cheesy and awesome, Love the buffalo bolognese. As an old school Italian lover I normally always go for the lasagna which is fantastic, but don't be afraid to try anything on this menu I have yet to find something that I didn't like. The wines are delicious, so are the cocktails, if you're thinking Italian think Cafe Jordano.

Great services and cute family owned business. Karma’s favorite was creamy and delicious. Finance did not like the scampi but we definitely want to go back to try more!

Wow. I knew by the line outside waiting to get in that it was going to be good and it surpassed my expectations. It was GREAT. Our server was amazing and the food was incredible. This is now on our "every time we visit" list of restaurants to go to. Absolutely loved it

WOW - what an incredible family owned local Italian restaurant!! Where to begin? The food is so fresh and flavorful. The New England Clam Chowder was really good. All the pasta dishes we ordered were very delicious and generous portions.

It was busy and service was still attentive and our food came out at a normal time. Prices were extremely fair. Highly recommend!

Best chicken parmigiana I’ve had in Colorado. The red sauce is delicious!
My girlfriend ate her entire entree it was so good! It was some shrimp special. Can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes! 😋

Update: tried the grilled chicken penne vodka, it was good! I’ve had better before if I’m being honest but I’m from the east coast (nj) and worked in some Italian restaurants before so my Italian food standards are a little higher than most. This place is my go to and I look forward to trying more dishes in the future!

Also got the chicken parm dinner for take out and posted a pic. All of that for just under $20! It was delicious.

Ended up here by happenstance and while I’ve heard good things about the place from an older couple in the area. This type of simply made but delicious-in-every-way food is hard to find. They’re getting the most flavor out of each ingredient. I didn’t have much to try but the tortellini alla panna and the clam chowder were both excellent. The bread service was fresh and the olive oil was great. It’s a bit far from me but I’ll remember it; it’s worth the drive.

We had dinner with the family and it was a perfect night. The mussels were great. Most of us had the seafood linguini with the olive oil base. Thank you for having the gluten-free pasta. We will be back next time we are in Denver.

Lovely, cozy, family run, inviting, delicious restaurant. Every member of the staff was so friendly and happy. We absolutely loved our food . Thank you for carrying ice cold alcohol free beer!

We got there at 845. Not knowing they close at 9. The owner Gina, let us sit at the bar to be served , and still had access to full menu. I love this place and the food.

I love this place! Nice Italian family owned restaurant! My favorite dish is Ben's favorite or the seafood dish with scallops and shrimp (I can't remember the name). That dish is probably my all time favorite ♥! I visit Denver about 4 times a year and I always make this place a priority to eat at each time!

Was blown away by how great the food was here! Wine menu also has a good deal of depth to it and you're able to match your meal perfectly.

If this is on your list to check out, don’t wait - go tonight. We had a blast celebrating our anniversary there; we also brought our 4 mo old and she was very welcomed, such a great spot.

Very good Italian restaurant. I enjoyed the Seafood linguine, gluten free option, with Cream sauce! Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a "must go to” dinner every time we are in town. Friendly staff and great food. Bob's favorite is my favorite pick! Hugs fan!
