Best Comic Book store around! The store has lots of cool comic books, old and new! The owner was awesome, me and my boy literally just talked to him about books and movies for 30 minutes before buying anything. If you want a great experience and want to look or shop for comics, Kirby comics is definitely the place to go!

If you are looking for vintage, new, graded or signed comics this is your place. The owner there 99% of the time and has the books and answers for you. It is a refreshing change to the modern comic store that has started to cater to the gamer and not the comic collector. All comics are bagged and boarded in advance and at no extra charge. Very organized and visual store. If you are in the need of a comic collectors comic store this is your face. It is well worth a drive to shop here. And if its late no problem. Kirby Comics is open 1pm till 11pm Wednesday through Sunday. Your collection will thank you for stopping.

My score from today's visit! Each time I visit, I enjoy this store. Always a friendly greeting from the owner, and a massive selection to choose from. I'm not very well versed in comics, but the owner is always willing to help with suggestions or answer questions. I'm glad our town still has a comic book store! It's worth a visit for anyone who loves comics or is just curious and wants to explore.

First time into the store this weekend, what a great experience! The owner is very passionate and friendly, he had a lot of suggestions but without pressuring you, he helps you explore the store to find what you are looking for. They have a great selection and variety here. What I look for is illustration style, so independents and graphic novels is what I mainly purchase. They have a great selection of strange things I haven't really seen and the comics you expect to find monthly. I picked up several books, all with great illustration styles that stood out to me. A lot of times taking a gamble on a book based on the cover art can get you into trouble. Only to get home, open the package and to be disappointed by the art inside. Every book I picked up here (all titles I had never heard of before) had exceptional art. The owner suggested some and I randomly picked out the others. Needless to say I will be returning to pick up some of the other issues of the books I chose, and to explore and try out some other titles I've never seen before. Great little comic shop with a great atmosphere! Glad to have found the place!

This is ultimately my favorite location, in and around Hanover, to buy comic books.
The owner is insanely friendly; he knows all about all that's been around and what's new. Tell him your interests and he'll know exactly what to recommend (he recommended Monstress to me and it's my favorite now). He will also order anything if he can find it. He's gone out of his way to pre-order a Scooby Doo volume for us. I love that there's a huge variety of small children's comics too (Scooby-Doo Batman mysteries, Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony, Donald Duck); the whole family has a fun time choosing something. This town would truly lose something special if this place ever went out of business, so be a good neighbor and buy local from Kirby Comics!

Easily the best comic book shop in Hanover(and there’s only 3 I think)! Great variety of books, great recommendations from the owner, great deals year round! If you want a great place to get comics cheap and maybe pick up some action figures or rare comics too, go to Kirby’s!

Came from Baltimore to check out a few comic shops in the Hanover, PA area and this was our favorite. The owner is knowledgeable of everything there and has some good stuff!! We are definitely taking the drive in the future

I try to come in for a quick visit and always spend hours talking. Owner is the best comic shop owner I’ve experienced. From Syracuse to Baltimore i’ve never seen a shop sell at reasonable prices and fairly buy one get one on trade paperbacks and omnibuses is unheard of! I drive an hour out of my way just to buy here.

Kirby Comics is incredible. We went in on a whim, just happy to find another comic store in our area. Upon entering, we noted that the store was clean and welcoming. There was a good variety of product out for every type of comic lover. The owner Matt greeted us as we entered and asked us what kind of comics we were looking for. We listed a few names for him. He immediately knew who the artists & writers were, and what projects they worked on. He thus pulled out comics and books that fit the bill and told us a little bit about each of them. He also gave us recommendations for titles based on series we told him that we liked. He seems to know his trade incredibly well and is very clearly passionate about comics and anyone that reads them. In the end we picked out several things he suggested as well as a few old favorItes. Checkout was smooth and he thanked us for coming in. With an experience like this, we'll definitely be back!

Great selection and customer service. Literally the only place I would ever go to buy comics. Full of new and classic books. Owner and operator is incredibly friendly and helpful. Worth the time, worth the dime.

This was a very pleasant surprise when we had an hour to kill between events. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of his way to recommend titles for all tastes. The store is small, but it has a rather varied selection. Stop by and browse for a bit!

I had such a great time visiting this store! Nice variety of stuff and things I haven't even seen before! I think you'll also be hard pressed to find an owner as helpful, welcoming and kind as Matt. I really appreciated all the suggestions and general love this shop seems to have for great books! It was nice to have that "Comic Book Store Experience" you're supposed to have when you visit a new shop. You have got to visit this store!

Visited the store to get some info and start getting back onto comic books. I will return for sure. The owner was super helpful gave me a ton of info and learned a few things from him. Great place to costed felt welcomed and was treated great. A+ customer service

I very rarely promote companies on social media. I do not hesitate this time though. Kirby comics is my new favorite book store.

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone with such an immense amount of knowledge on the comic book industry. Every time I've gone in there the owner, Matt, has helped us locate just what we are looking for.

He has such a variety of books, comics, shirts, action figures that you quickly lose track of time. 10/10 would recommend to boys, girls, men and women.

Awesome store. The owner was awesome, extremely friendly, and interesting to talk to. Has a great selection, and tons of hidden gems. Leagues better than the other store in town. Anyone looking for a fresh comic store experience should stop here, but know ahead of time they don't do tabletop or tc games.

This store is miles above the service at Comic universe. Knowledgeable owner at Kirby's that has a passion for comics.

I only wish they also sold Magic the Gathering cards, but I can't fault the store for that.

The owner is very helpful. He listens to you and suggests comics based upon your likes. I like that offers a bag and board on every comic, no extra charge. You can tell he"s a collector. His passion shows as hes talking. I bought the current series of The Umbrella Academy.

Amazing local comic store with experience to owner, huge selection of manga anime, and all varieties of comics as well as toys and books. great prices that rival the big box stores with that hometown atmosphere. Artwork and other novelties perfect for any gift or upcoming holiday. I won't go anywhere else for my comic book needs.
