Nirvana Culinary Paradise

We were very happy to find this gem in Cañon city. Fantastic food, service and a good selection of wine. We tried dishes with chicken and lamb and both were great. Naan was also delicious. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Nirvana Culinary Paradise has really superior food. During our visit, we ordered the tandoori chicken and tandoori shrimp--both were divine. Also enjoyed a dark rum and ginger beer cocktail mashed "Dark and Stormy"... It was tasty and buzzy.
Highly recommend this place for an absolutely delicious experience.

Nirvana also receives a solid endorsement from the patronage of the local Indian community. That's something that we always look for when searching for authentic and delicious international cuisine.

I will start by saying I am very picky about my food and I leave reviews often. Rarely do I leave a 5***** review.
The food here is fresh, tasty and authentic.
The price is decent, around $20-$30 per person, but definitely worth it.

The restaurant had a lot of natural lighting coming in from the skylight window which I thought was really nice. I ordered the butter chicken and it was delicious, the food came out hot and fresh. I ordered my food at a level 5, which for me was mild but still very enjoyable, but if you can handle heat you’re safe with a level 5 here! Service was great as well! My partner and I really enjoyed this place, we’ll definitely be back.

The most delicious Indian/Nepali food I had in a long time. Appropriately spiced and food cooked to the perfection. We had chicken masala, naan, and chicken tandoori. All of them were absolutely amazing. Atmosphere spectacular.

Staff and service above standards. The food was flavorful and amazing. The chicken curry and the chicken tikka kebobs are amazing. If you are in the neighborhood stop on in. You wont be disappointed.

Best Indian food in Canon city downtown. Amazing find on our trip to Royal Gorge bridge and park. Atmosphere and decor was really cool. Service was good. Food was fast and delicious. I really liked the lamp Rogan josh.the price is little higher for the quantity otherwise it’s great. It's definitely some of the best Indian I've had in recent memory

Worth the drive to Canon City.
This place serves amazing fresh Indian cuisine - I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and the server asks me how spicy would I like it, on a scale of 1-5, I choose 4 and it was delicious. Highly recommend you order the Riatta (yogurt) to help cool things down a bit. Garlic Cheese Naan was tasty. Enjoyed the Mango Lassi - refreshing.

Nirvana Culinary Paradise was a great little gem we found by accident in Cañon City after a Royal Gorge Route train excursion. Highly recommended for the excellent variety of dishes, the atmosphere and the customer service. We tried the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan bread. All excellent.

The service is great, the different flavors of real Indian spices is amazing. I ordered the Nirvana Combination Biryani and it was great. And the garlic bread amazing. It is a great place to eat. The best in town.

Clean. Nice decor. Tall ceilings. Nice ambiance. Staff was cordial and willing to talk, answer questions, give recommendations, etc.

They have some gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free. They make it clear on their menu.

We had a lamb dish that was delicious and the meat was tender and flavorful. Sometimes, lamb can be very hard to do. They do it right!

We also had veggie korma. Delicious.

Will go back again.

You would first be surprised to find Indian food in Canõn City, Colorado and that too with such authentic taste. Great ambience, friendly staff and tasty food. The place is definitely popular with the locals as it was packed at 6pm on a weekday.
Would surely recommend and have here again on our next trip.

As advertised the best Indian food in canyon city town. It is clean and we'll maintained restaurant. The food was tasty. The price is higher for the quantity. Otherwise it is great. Large selection of drinks available. Ordered food arrived quickly as well.

Wow! We heard about how great this place was and we were finally able to experience it. There are several food options to choose from. They offer a vegetarian menu and several gluten-free items. Our food was cooked based on how spicy we wanted it (scale of 1-5). The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We already cannot wait to come back.

I was surprised to find Indian food in Canon city, downtown colorado, On our trip to the Royal Gorge bridge. The best Indian food with an authentic taste. One of the best things about nirvana is that they list each item as gluten/dairy free or vegan so that they can accommodate your dietary needs. That there are so many gluten-free options. They offered a hot rating of 1-5, with five being the most desirable. I tried 5, and it was a perfect balance. I went there at lunchtime without reservation; we were almost seated quickly.

I order their  Kofta curry, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, lamb chops, and chicken biryani. All the dishes have their authentic taste and flavor. I liked their lamb chop, perfectly cooked with green chill paste and masalas.

Service was outstanding, and I loved the atmosphere. All in all a phenomenal experience, I would suggest this place, and we will be back next time I m in town.

Best food in Canon City! I'm so pumped that they have Indian food! It's comparable to my favorite spot up in the Springs. Veggie Korma and chicken tikka masala are amazing.

This food is amazing ! Mixed grill . Sauce is wonderful, rice is so soft and the meat is delicious. I also ordered the garlic cheese naan which is excellent.

Service was prompt, excellent Indian food. We ate lamb curry and lamb biryani and butter naan. My best friend is Indian and though we are not Indian, we thought it was better than several places in the springs. Definitely plan to return. Best restaurant we’ve found in the area. Lovely ambience.
