Ace on The Fax

Could not recommend more! I run a tree service and this is the first sthl dealer that I have found that cares and takes pride in their work. Daisy and Juel worked with me to find some more obscure parts for a chainsaw that no one else was willing to order in for me. They even shipped them to a job site so I didn't have to drive 6 hours to pick up the parts!! Everyone seems knowledgeable and happy to be there. Don't look anywhere else for a great sthl dealer.

I love this store a little too much. Since beginning my woodworking hobby a few years ago, I've spent a lot of time here. Without exception, I've found the staff members very helpful.

Ordered a new Weber natural gas grill and was able to get free assembly and delivery, try getting that service from the big box stores.
Also, the delivery person looked at my new natural gas connection and told me what fitting i will need to connect my grill which saved me from calling a plumber and $$$.

Stacey was a HUGE help in helping me locate the right parts for me to fix my luggage rack on my bike. It saved me loads of time, and she was super friendly too. Ace really lives up to its promise as the helpful place every time I go, but this was even better than usual!! Thanks again, Stacey!!!

I recently broke my ankle and needed to replace the rubber tips on my crutches. It was icy outside and I really wanted to get them replaced asap to avoid falling. I attempted to replace them in the store but they didn't quite fit. Alex saw my struggle and went the extra mile! He took them into the back and adjusted them to fit. Thank you! Thank you! The staff there are really friendly and helpful and the products available there are less expensive compared to other brick and mortar stores and online.

I love this store! It has great and helpful employees. I was helped by this nice young lady named Phoebe. The only improvement this could have is not being on east Colfax because east Colfax is too crazy.

This place has everything! So impressed by the selection. The costumer service was fantastic. I was asked by everyone if I needed help. Long haired guy made the paint for me. Amazing service! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I found my forever hardware store!

Arrived at Ace and was Greeted by staff. Immediately asked if I needed help finding anything! I browsed around the store for a few minutes. Asked if they had a bigger bag of woodburning chips for grill and she immediately looked up inventory on her phone. The entire staff was super friendly.

This place goes above and beyond! I had a flat tire and had went to 3 different places that had the air machines to fill my tire before it went completely flat! Well it did (unfortunately there was an issue with all 3 of the air machines in this area!) and I happen to be near this hardware store so I pulled into their parking lot and called to see if maybe the sold the portable air pumps to get my tire going. All they had were the ones for bikes however they did carry fix a flat! So when I called I explained to the young lady over the phone what was going on and she said she'd send someone out to assist me since I had my fur kid with me (I wasn't about to leave him in the car as hot as it's been outside!) so I waited maybe 2 mins and someone came to help me out! I wish I would have gotten this young man's name cause he went above and beyond and took my cash, went and rang up the fix a flat, and came back out and put it in my flat tire for me! I was highly impressed and so grateful and will be sure to pay this forward for you young man!

Everyone loves a good hardware store, this one in particular is EXCEPTIONAL. I've worked for a number of hardware stores and you can't beat this one. The inventory is AMAZING, online ordering is a breeze, and the staff knows what they're talking about, EVEN WHERE TO SEND YOU IF THEY DON'T HAVE WHAT YOU NEED (which I highly doubt). If you're shopping anywhere else you're wasting your time.

I can't say enough positive things about this store and its staff. They're always friendly, helpful (which is why they're the helpful hardware store, after all) and attentive. The store is always clean and organized with enough of a selection to fit my needs nearly every time I go in. Best of all, this place makes me look forward to going to the hardware store, unlike my dread when just thinking about a Home Depot trip.

I reviewed this Ace in 2016, when I was in need of sharpening for our then-push-mower (see below). I have continued to use this hardware store because it is excellent. Most recently, we purchased an EGO brand weed trimmer and needed help getting it apart to get at the wire, which was stuck inside. Back in the small motor repair shop, Jacki helped us right away--and got it open. She then showed us how to avoid the problem in the future. What GREAT customer service. Five stars again. We won't go to any other hardware store (despite the fact that there are several closer to us). And--all Covid-19 precautions are strictly enforced. Love it.

This Ace store sharpens non-motorized push mowers! I went to Power-at-Hand on Colfax, but they only sharpen power mowers--and they sent me to Ace on Fax. And what a large, beautifully organized and stocked Ace Hardware. It isn't the closest to my house by any means, but I may just go here from now on, for hardware needs.
