The Rite Place

Aubrey was great. She was very accommodating. We never felt rushed to order or felt like we were being too needy because we like things in a particular way. She was the reason our visit was so nice. Plus, every person who had fish claimed how delicious it was. Plus, generous servings as well. Lisa made our ice cream drinks with love and they were fantastic - grasshopper, brandy Alexander and Tom and Jerry were all made just right. This is the rite place!

This place has been here for a long time and is family owned and it shows in the overall experience. Great food - pick anything and you’ll be smiling and satisfied. Great people are employed there and there’s plenty of places to sit with a group of any size.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s hungry and wants to eat a meal that makes them happy.

I got a patty melt and my daughter got Mac and cheese. The patty melt was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The Mac and cheese seemed like it was kraft or very similar so my daughter loved it. The waitress also gave her a box of crayons and three large coloring books to entertain herself. It was very busy but the staff did great so it didn't seem busy.

I different visit I had the broasted chicken and definitely a must have. It was ordered and at the table in less than 20 minutes.

The food was good and the service was excellent. Gypsy had brosted chicken with mashed potatoes and I had a brat burger and onion rings. We had cheese curds for our appetizer. The beer was cold and good. They had a alcohol free wine which was good.

Great spot for cheese curds, chicken booyah soup, chicken dumpling soup, and a burger. Also, they’ve got a great selection of 6-10 local beers on tap.

If your looking for a old Town supper club atmosphere this is the place. Food is excellent, drinks are good as well. When it's busy the staffing seems stretched thing.

Really good food! I had the JJ burger..oh my! Besides being a heart attack waiting to happen it was AMAZING! Brat patty, burger patty and I added bacon. Wow, flavors and sensations that were different and worth trying. The service was great, friendly people and great atmosphere. A great place to come for simple dining and great memories ❤❤

Really friendly staff and terrific food. They had some great specials tonight. We had the soup. It was delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by.

A good place for a typical Midwest fish fry.

Great food and drinks. Longtime family owners care about their customers. We love it at The Rite Place! We're there at least once a week. Update 8-2-22: Large group of 100+ for a funeral lunch. Family style chicken is awesome! Excellent service too! Update 3-4-24: Excellent tenderloin tips with mashed potatoes. Yum!

A couple months ago my husband and I had our Wedding reception here- it was a great experience! They were very easy to work with, very flexible with our needs (and covid concerns!), and they made it as easy and simple for us as possible. I was completely comfortable putting it all in their capable hands and having one less thing to worry about that day! Service was great, food was great and everyone had a fun time!

The chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had and the people there are probably some of the nicest that I’ve ever seen working at a restaurant. It’s hard to put up with restaurant work but most people there seem to actually like it. They’ve been around forever and I hope it stays that way.

The outdoor courtyard is a hidden gem. Freshest salads ever. The perch is amazing too. Service was good but a tad slow.

This review is long overdue. The Rite Place has been our place to go for family dinning for decades. We are always treated wonderfully by staff whether they are regulars or new hires. The Food is very good as well. I go there a LOT just for the soup! Highly recommended!

Always come here when in town for Friday night fish fry. Absolutely love the perch plates and their jumbo butter burger and the size of the plate. You definitely won't leave here hungry. The service is excellent.

Wow!! Hubby and I found our new favorite place for Friday fish fry. They hand bread their perch and it’s amazing. The staff all work hand in hand. For such a busy place you get awesome service. I had the steamed haddock and it was spot on!! Hubby has the perch and it is lightly breaded and delicious. You can eat at the bars (there are 2) or eat at the many tables they have to accommodate you. Very friendly staff. We highly recommend this awesome experience.
