Great place. So lively and welcoming. Lots of seating outdoors. Bar is nice but a bit tight of quarters indoors.
Ciders are super crisp and delicious. Beers are plentiful and bold.
Delicious pie for after.
All-around such a quality establishment.

Comfy, warm taproom with good pies. Service was excellent. Beer selection is nice, they have ciders but also other beer styles which we appreciated. We got the chicken pot pie, veggie empanada, and chocolate mousse and lemon raspberry pie. 10/10 recommend stopping by here!

This place used to be bittersweet...literally not figuratively, that was it's name. A large selection of ciders ranging from dry as the Mojave desert to sweet as your grandmothers cookies awaits you in a post industrial decor with ample outside seating. There are some beers on tap and local kombucha for those who prefer not to indulge in the alcoholic side of fermentation. If you get hungry a slice of Humboldt pie is also part of the establishment , serving delicious hand pies, chicken/veggie pot pies and full size sweet and savory pies.
The pies are truly delicious and made with quality local ingredients and the empanadas are on par with some of the best I have had in South America. A welcome addition to the downtown food and drink offerings, the local cider bar is worth checking out because as Henry David Thoreau said, "the apple is the noblest of fruits."

Great place for my 21st birthday, our bartender Tyler was great at recommending drinks and had a great personality! Will be back!

AMAZING ciders on tap! We stopped here on our road trip down the coast after falling in love with ciders in the PNW. Such a great diversity of selections - our favorite was the pineapple cider. We enjoyed a slice of pie from the shop next door and had a wonderful meal (of pie and cider) on their lovely covered patio on a rainy day.

There's 2 separate businesses running under one roof here. Drinks and food are ordered separately. Laid back but lively place to hangout

Great little joint setup of multiple businesses in the same space, making it work. The cider is excellent and changes frequently. The food is delicious too, all variations of pie. Pizza in the back. Outdoor seating and indoor options.

I'm not a beer gal, and not many places offer more than two cider choices, so seeing a cider-focus bar was a delight. Bartender was very patient as I panicked at the variety of choices. Ended up ordering a flight! Got pie and a salad from the counter over, both delicious. Left full and happy!

What a fun place. They have great indoor and outdoor seating. The bartender was awesome. He helped us with our selections and provided excellent service. They have a large selection of cider and some good beers to choose from as well. We got two pies to go and they were incredibly good. It was a fantastic experience and a must stop in Arcata.

Can't say much more than how amazing this local establishment is. Every employee has always gone above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed. We love to come in with our son and hang out and eat and get a few ciders. Jody has been one of our favorite bartenders. The manager always knows just what he has on tao with great descriptions and always has great suggestions. This is our go to whenever we have friends and family in town.

Wonderful Cider Bar that has over 20 ciders on tap in a great open space that has indoor and outdoor seating areas. The staff is friendly and provides great service. There is a wide range of styles of cider from apple to one that has strawberry and rhubarb, all local. They are in the same building as Humboldt Pie and I had an apple crumble that paired really well with my apple cider. Excellent experience.

Great selection, love the location and it's great to have good pies on the side. My Fave is Spire cider but the rotation is always changing. The decor is amazing, courtyard is fantastic for big groups. Make sure to get samples because the variety is quite awesome. Staff is always friendly and quick! Totally worth a night out and great place to bring out of towners

Great atmosphere, incredible cider and a great few beers on tap. There's not a whole lot of space but there is great seating outside. Even better when there is delicious pie available to snack on.

One of my favorite local establishments where the whole family is welcome. Jody is great with my 5 year old and makes him "magic water" in a blue glass to make him feel fancy. We always make sure to bring everyone who visits us from out of town in. All our friends and family fall in love with the loving and upbeat atmosphere the bartenders bring!

A great atmosphere and crowd. I asked for the most popular cider they had and they gave me a refreshing guava blend that I really enjoyed. Good seating outside and great to enjoy some pie alongside the cider too.
