Ramada by Wyndham Arcata

Stayed here three nights for work. Service was great. I accidentally left my toothbrush charger in the bathroom and the front desk receptionist called me to arrange its return. I also appreciate the fact the refrigerator has a freezer section that large enough to store a pint of ice cream. Most hotel freezers are too small to do that. I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Clean, non stinky room, friendly desk people, decent breakfast, two decent restaurants walking distance and dog friendly. 35-40 minutes from the redwoods. If you cross the street, you can take a nice morning walk in farm area. Great 2 star hotel!

We enjoyed this hotel. Nice place. No big roads close to. Taste breakfast. Good refrigerator. Big picknick area.

I really enjoyed my stay here for the time that I stayed which was probably my longest stay at a hotel the staff was excellent anytime I needed something they took care of it in a timely manner the rooms were clean place was clean and breakfast was OK there's no biscuits and gravy but otherwise good lol management was awesome they made sure I had everything I needed only bad part no smoking rooms but hey you can't have it all lol all in all one of the best stays I've had at a Wyndham hotel in this area. Very satisfied with my stay there

I highly recommend the Ramada inn. Chris, the manager was extremely helpful and went over the top to make sure that all of our travel needs were met. My friend and I biked the coast of Oregon, and had to get ourselves and our boxed bikes to the airport. Chris was nice enough to take us at 4 AM & even carried our bikes. He took his personal vehicle since the bikes did not fit in the courtesy vehicle. The most exceptional customer service!! He also offered to take us to bike shop to get shipping boxes. The stay was comfortable and staff overly accommodating. 5/5!! Thanks so much!

My room was upstairs and the hotel seemed clean. The furniture and bath was a little worn down. But the OUTSTANDINGLY friendly staff, really made this an amazing experience. Becky went more than above and beyond in helping me get shuttled to the hotel. She was also so hospitable, professional, great sense of urgency and extremely friendly.

Front desk lady is the nicest, and always a pleasant interaction. I love the fish tank and the beds are very comfortable…I stay here every time I’m in the area! Thank you for the excellent customer service!

We were traveling during the coronavirus pandemic and were very pleased to find accommodations easily using our Windham Reward points.
The facility was totally up to par as long as you are not expecting a 5 star resort at a 3 star hotel price. Staff was great, room was very nice, no breakfast due to the pandemic health concerns but it's nice to see they care.
We were completely satisfied.

For the price everything was good. Most of the people were very nice and helpful. The breakfast bar had a pretty good selection of food from cereal and fresh made waffles to ham and eggs and fruit ect. My room was neat and clean and bug free plus a clean pool and hot tub!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, and a great deal. Becky, at the front desk, went above and beyond to find us a super quiet room and make sure our food stayed cold overnight in their fridge.
We had our first solid night of sleep of our trip and we are extremely grateful!

I was in Arcata due to a family emergency when our son was in ICU at the local hospital. Lodging was extremely sparse and Sage and the other two front desk clerks were so helpful and accommodating! I only had reservations for one night since they were booked the other nights so when a room opened up 2 other days of that week they called me to reserve it! That meant the world to me to be able to stay where it was nice and quiet and I felt safe. 😌

We left a very special item there (my daughter’s quilt that my mom made her when she was born). The manager, Sage, personally mailed it to our home in San Francisco. We couldn’t be more appreciative of this gesture from him and the staff for keeping it and then sending it our way. Thank you to the team!

Great location close to a restaurant and out of the way of a bunch of traffic.

Really enjoyed my visit, the food was great!

Front desk friendly and attentive. Good procedures around Covid. Rooms are spacious and one facing the inner courtyard have microwaves and fridges. Convenient location next to 101, but far enough away you don’t hear any traffic.

Love this hotel. They're always so welcoming when I check in or have a question. The rooms are always clean and tidy with great heaters. Love the fact they are dog friendly. Overall a great place to stay.

Marvelous staff! Very friendly and efficient. The staff was very kind to my new shelter puppy that needed to be socialized.
