Super 8 by Wyndham Arcata

I read some of the reviews on here they wasn't good ones I don't know what people expect but I can honestly say it was clean room was clean no problems with anything and the cost was good we stayed 4 nights and no problems it was worth every dime we will definitely stay here again when we visit Humboldt county again

Stuck for the weekend, waiting on repairs. Very quite room. Clean, everything worked. Had some decent eateries near by. Might do it again, minus the breakdown.

Your best option for a decent low-priced room. The rooms are clean and the staff is outstanding. There are some restaurants and grocery stores right across the street. Easy access to downtown, California Poly, and McKinleyville airport, and all kinds of beautiful scenery. I recommend Taqueria La Barca for some amazing tacos nearby.

For a budget motel and the price, the room is quiet, clean and the front desk was very friendly. The amenities are rather old but that’s to be expected for a budget motel. The parking lot looked sketchy at night and someone was acting rather odd in their car when we arrived but nothing happened during our stay. Overall it exceeded my expectations

Made it into Humboldt co. for work and totally forgot to make hotel reservations in willow creek/ Hoopa area. Everything was booked. Called the 8 first. Jim, the front desk guy was very professional over the phone as well as accommodating. Got into town not expecting much from the establishment... If I could give more stars for service I would. The room is very clean and grounds well kept. And that fella Jim was very helpful everytime I went to the front desk to annoy him with everything from where was the best food to what to order. Even tho it's 35 miles past my working location this is my new home away in Humboldt. Serious tho, since COVID I often Karen out about how people forgot what good service and being a good human is. Jim is a major asset to this super 8. Thank you!!

The friendly helpful staff was a breath of fresh air after driving for 15 straight hours. She was friendly and smiling and ready to help me get into a comfortable room as soon as possible. Her name was Clara and she asked me twice if there is anything else she could do for me. Overall very friendly and professional. The rooms are quite large for the price with two comfortable beds near many fast food places and other places to eat located in the center of arcata would definitely recommend it to a friend

This is an economy hotel; as such, it was clean, pet friendly, and safe. There was a nice area behind it for walking the dog which seemed very safe and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was the best hotel we've stayed in (in this area) that was affordable and clean, and it was located in an area that made you feel secure.

Not fancy at all, but if you are looking for someplace clean, quiet, comfortable, and cheap, this is it.

This is a good motel. I got a clean room, which is most important. No hassle from staff. Decent place to sleep for the night in a great location. A few people camped out in parking lot but they kept to themselves. Hotel was secure.

The hallway carpets are dirty. There was no visible elevator. Rooms were clean and well stocked.

I've only viewed it as it is very reasonable.
Location is great if you have an automobile to get around.
So I'm staying again in the Super 8 in Eureka

I had a pleasant stay with my family. Room was neat and clean. It had microwave and refrigerator. Initially we were little worried after reading the reviews about homeless people but I didn’t see any at the campus.

Perfect place to stop for a night while on the road. Clean and comfy bed, hot shower, and there is a mcdonalds next door or a great coffee place across the street. Bathroom could have used an update but otherwise the stay was fine.

Currently here with my wife and 2 little girls. Room, sheets, and bathroom are clean, host was very nice, and the parking lot is well lit. Definitely not a Marriott hotel, but for the price, it is a good bargain.

The daytime person kind of had a little attitude when I asked if there was any stoppers to plug up the bathtub in anyway because they don't have them in the bathtub you have to go to the front desk to get one and then it doesn't fit and then he told me it was wasn't his problem what was I going to do about it but other than that they're pretty they're pretty awesome but pretty

This is, hands down, the best Super 8 I've ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly and helpful, even when we arrived at 4am. The entrance to the room was on the inside like a hotel. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Plus, they included an amazing hot continental breakfast with coffee, toast, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and diy waffles.

Very pleasant and kind staff And will work with you if you mess up the room and you put your deposit down you might get half back you might not very reputable I intend to stay there again

Clean basic motel. You get a desk, mini fridge and microwave, as well as a chair. The room is a little older but well cared for and clean. What more do you want in this price range?

Super 8s to me in Hollywood where I am from, are usually the run down party type motels, never really kept up and pretty damn yucky. But I will say that this one here is actually the cleanest super 8 ive ever been to. and to be specific, the weekend Housekeeping staff are absolutely the most helpful, hardworking, prompt and friendly, people. This super 8 is super clean and cool. They go above and beyond to fulfill your needs. I love ALL of the front desk staff, they are ridiculously cool, helpful and awesome. The 2 rooms i've been in are super clean and i love that the rooms have a refrigerator and microwave because i have a few babies that always need milk or snacks. I love the little continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms are already a great price and with breakfast added in it makes it that much better. Gunitolli Lane is a strip of alot of hotels and motels in arcata so i will say be aware of a few homeless people here and there...I have personally never been bothered or felt threatened in any kind of way but some people may not like that, so Aside from that I would definitely suggest this super 8 if you want a cheap, comfortable, bedbug and and any kind of bug, overnight stay out here in arcata here is where its at. No bugs, clean, friendly staff, morning breakfast, cheap, and great for a short trip to travel through humboldt !
