Samuel's on the Square

Was very impressed with the food options for our Gluten Free. The waitress even made sure to keep our food separate from the other couple we came with without us asking. And sweet tea was the bomb.

We went to Samuel’s for the first time tonight for dinner. The ribeye steak was grilled to perfection and melt in your mouth tender. The grilled Mahi Mahi was light and flaky with a delicious lemon butter sauce. Our server Charlotte was outstanding. The food, service and ambience made for an amazing dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time tonight for our 9th wedding anniversary. I am happy to say we were not disappointed! Charlotte was fantastic taking care of us, our glasses were never empty, the food came out in record time and she was a joy to conversate with. As if the food wasn't good enough, she definitely made us repeat customers.

Now onto the food. We both got the ribeye and I do not have anything negative to say. The cinnamon apples were to die for, the steaks were cooked to perfection, the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. You could tell with every bite the food was homemade by someone who has a passion for cooking.

And the prices!! Food that delectable at such good prices, we will be frequent customers for sure!

Definitely more of an upscale place for the area but if you're looking for fine dining, this place beats a chain restaurant. I always like supporting local places so we went here for a birthday dinner. Our teenager loved the alfredo with shrimp, husband got a perfectly cooked steak, and I had some superb chicken with cremini mushrooms. Salads were also very fresh.

We’ve been to Samuel’s 5 times and we always enjoy our meals! The servers are friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite dish is the Capon Florentine. We loved the Valentine’s Day special- a 48 oz Porterhouse to share, with salads, sides, and a dessert. The Porterhouse had a flavorful crust, was cooked a Medium Well on the edges for my boyfriend, and a juicy Medium Rare in the middle for me. Perfect for sharing! The Cremini Mushrooms were so juicy and flavorful, and perfect with the steak. Great quiet place to enjoy a meal!

I'm new to this area and I've been going to lots of different restaurants and Samuel's is by far the best restaurant. Prices are great, food was amazing n our server was awesome! Well worth it! And I must add this my family is picky n every time we go out at least 1 of us dislikes something, but not at Samuel's, we all loved everything!♥♥♥ we will definitely be coming back! Mad props!

I had the grilled salmon dinner and it was great. The hush puppies were delicious. I would be happy to come eat here again. If you are near Waverly, TN be sure to stop by. The building is in the town square and it is also beautiful. The staff couldn't be nicer and helpful.

This place is truly a gem. The perfect place to enjoy a date night or a night out with good company. Gorgeous building, AMAZING food, and a charming small town atmosphere. I have tried LITERALLY everything on the menu and loved every bit of it. The Chicken Marsala is AWESOME! Simply seasoned and cooked as authentic as it gets.

Went with my husband for my birthday. Staff (especially Angel) were super nice. The food was excellent. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and perfectly sized portions. And my chocolate cake was on the house because it was my birthday. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely return.

The food was great as always, people are great also. My wife have been here twice now and we are never disappointed... I had the haddock which was great, she had the chicken. The atmosphere is awesome. We are from the Northeast and when I had the haddock it was cooked perfect.. Thank you Samuel's for the great dinner again....

Outstanding menu with highly personal service. Had a party of six who all ordered differently. Everyone was highly satisfied with the entrees. Server was very attentive and owner came out to check our satisfaction with everything. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food for a nice price. Samuel’s has a great atmosphere and courteous staff. I have never had a bad meal from this restaurant. I don’t get to eat here as much as I prefer, but will change that real soon. Thanks for the many years of great dining...see ya soon!
