This pharmacy is amazing! When i transferred my perscriptions there from walmart they asked who the manufacturer was of my generic seizure med. I said i didnt know. She called walmart and asked. She told me filling my perscription from a different manufacturer could cause me to have a seizure. I've been taking that perscription for decades. And occassionally lately had an symtom. Just jad a visit with "seizure specialist" dr. Who told me i may need an additional medication. Told him been taking this one for a few decades with no problem. He said i was getting older so may need to change. He didnt tell me anything about different manufacturer i asked him if he knew that. He said he had heard of that but didn't think that was what was causing my problem, then started switching medication around, with others i had tried which caused extremely bad side effects. He didnt listen and almost killed me! LIFE FLIGHT TO UT was how bad. THANK YOU FOOD CITY PHARMACY. I SEE A DIFFERENT DR NOW WHO HAS AGREED TO PERSCRIBE AND FILED AN INSURANCE FORM TO FILL AND ONLY FILL THE BRAND NAME OF THAT PERSCRIPTION! FOOD CITY PHARMACY HAS SERIOUSLY SAVED MY LIFE! they truly care, amazing, will never switch to another pharmacy as long as they are open.

They always have my prescriptions ready on time and are very friendly!!!

Never have to wait in line

I deal with this pharmacy because they are the closest that accept Blink Health- a serious money saver for prescriptions. EVERY time I need to get my prescriptions there is some sort of issue. One of my prescriptions is considered controlled and they treat me like I'm an addict EVERY time. My husband went to get my prescriptions for me today and there were supposed to be three prescriptions ready. ONE was there with 2 pills for the month when normally there are 60. The guy assisting my husband said that they thought it odd and looked at the prescription several times but that's what it said.. they did not take initiative to call and verify with my Drs office even though it appeared wrong to them and it's after 5pm on Friday night, so I won't be able to get in touch with my Dr until Monday. I work customer service and if something looks off I call the customer or whomever placed the order as soon as possible so when the customer arrives they get what they need when they need it and I don't work with something as important as prescriptions. The pharmacy is an absolute joke and the staff is beyond rude. If it wasn't for how much money I save with Blink I would NEVER go here. I check periodically to see if someone else close accepts it... so far no luck... I give one star only because they accept Blink health.
