We have an amazing preacher that you sure won’t fall asleep during his service. Even tho I have to drive a long ways to get there it is so worth it. I highly recommend compassion if you’re searching for a church that makes you feel like family. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I love this Church. I love that there are so many opportunities to get plugged in and get to know my brothers and sisters in Christ. A very strong sense of family. Everyone is welcome, come as you are. The best preaching you will hear anywhere. We stand on the word of God with great praise and worship as well. A wonderful and growing children’s ministry. Wednesday night youth is full of faith the word and fun and food. What more could you want? Several small groups to be involved in. If you’re looking for a place to call home, come to Compassion.

Compassion Church is a second home to me. It is a special place! God met me there when I felt like I had nothing left to give. It’s a great place for kids to learn about the Lord and grow with Him. The youth group will always have a special place with me! Grateful for all the people that I serve with and attend with! If you’re looking for a home church, this is the place to be!

We moved to Waverly from Illinois in February 2023. We drove past Compassion frequently but didn’t visit until April 2023. We soon realized we had found our church home. We look forward to hearing the Word Pastor Garrette brings every Sunday, as well as a wonderful worship set. We are to truly thankful to be a part of the Compassion family!

A church that loves people where they are in life; teaches salvation and water baptism as the first part of the Christian walk; encourages spiritual growth through teaching and reading God's Word, the Bible. Has awesome music, too!
